Strip Mine , Black Vise to ping your opponent every turn. no land, no casting, big hand. For the sideboard, Tsunami and Flashfires

if you have green you can consider Using Splinter and Liquimetal Coating together. if its a mono color, you just removed all their land. Grossest land destruction card ive seen is liquimetal coating, run that and artifact destro. Also Myr Landshaper

one way to pull this off is to cascade with Bloodbraid Elf or Violent Outburst or whatever into Boom/bust. Just make sure you have nothing else in your deck it could cascade into and you've just destroyed all lands. with enough of a board. if you had a card like Greater Gargadon waiting you could cast the cascade card, sac all your lands and destroy all theirs.

I know he can be expensive but taking on account there is a lot of non basic lands on competitive play have you thougth of adding one Detritivore just in case?

Like the deck +1 !

You only have 16 lands and your curve averages at 2.5, and you dont have much acceleration. There are also 62 cards in your deck. Other than that looks ridiculous +1.

I once built a land destruction deck with Liquimetal Coating in mind. It works very well, though I don't often go after lands anymore.

Have you thought about the Painter's Servant + Pyroblast /Red Elemental Blast combo?

t0kimasa says... #12

Yes, reconaissance, but I think a creature is esier to destroy or remove than an artifact like Liquimetal Coating . Anyway, it's a very good combo.

Roiling Terrain and Melt Terrain look like they could find a home here

@asasinater13: I had Roiling Terrain , but with the Liquimetal Coating + Splinter combo, I risk that the opponent has no land in his/her graveyard.

fair enough. Melt Terrain could still see use with that, though

4x Lightning Bolt and 2x Lightning Strike ... not 3 or each

t0kimasa says... #17

@Kornex2000: that's right! I was so focused on other cards that I didn't think about it. But maybe it's better Incinerate than Lightning Strike ... or should I add Shock instead?

Rumbling Crescendo seems like a must-have for this deck.

Sowing Salt maybe? Also there's Myr Landshaper as redundancy for Liquimetal Coating !
