I love Gift of Immortality onHigh Priest of Penance ! I use it in another deck of mine, you will get a lot of ragers on MTGO with that one. But whats the reason for Nighthowler ? it looks weird on this deck

saw your update didn't see it before, but I still think Nighthowler looks strange, isn't there a more useful bestow? like Hopeful Eidolon

Nighthowler and eidolon have the same Bestow cost, but since I'm so focused on destruction, Nighthowler can give a rather large bonus, and I already have lifelink from Gift of Orzhova . I think Nighthowler works great.

You should put Ethereal Armor in this deck. Its cheap, effective, and awesome for Agent of the Fates

I've definitely considered it Matador. :D I just have no idea what to take out for it.

If your going against a fast aggro deck, you could replace Merciless Eviction For Ethereal Armor since getting to 6 mana is going to be very difficult to get to if you don't deal with their threat early game.

Could you describe the uses of the cards in the sideboard, and essentially cover a plan to beat the tough decks? (i.e. MonoBlack Devotion or Esper Control) You seem to have a solid creature strategy lined up, but many of the cards mainboard just aren't all that against anything with spot removal.

@RareLaboratoryI think Gods Willing and to a certain extent, orzhov charm are for spot removals. I sideboard a Boon of Erebos if my opponent has a bunch of removals. For Esper controls, I recommend siding Sin Collector & Thoughtseize or Duress

kay19 thanks for basically summarizing it :) Rare, pretty much everything kay said. Keep in mind a good standard deck is constantly shifting and experimenting, and I'm currently exploring Rootborn Defenses and Thoughtseize in the side, with Gods Willing and Orzhov Charm in the main.
Kay, as for Sin Collector and Boon of Erebos, I will definitely experiment with them in the coming weeks :D Thanks for the idea.

Lifebane Zombie isn't something I think you need in this deck. With 4x Agent of the Fates, you shouldn't have trouble dealing with creatures, and this could be a slot for something against control (Duress? Sin Collector?)
Immortal Servitude seems very out-of-place in a deck that isn't made to utilize it. Do you play it X = 3 and get back a couple creatures? What strategy does that defeat? If its a transformative sideboard card then I would focus on it a bit more, but if its just for mass removal or lots of spot removal, then there are better cards for you, such as Rootborn Defenses.
Thoughtseize could surely play in the mainboard, as there are very few decks that it's weak against (Maybe just RDW or another hyper-aggro)

At the moment I've found I don't really need more than 3, future testing of the current deck could change that, but we'll see.

Boon of Erebos is suuuper fun to use on Fable Hero... either to save him from removal or as a combat trick to trigger heroic pumping him to a suprise 5/3 doublestrike thus swinging for 10. Same goes for Gift of Orzhova. swinging for 4/4 flying, doublestrike, lifelink is a brutal way to stabilize on turn 4. All the 1 ofs seem a bit scattered...
