Nice deck!

3x Lumbering Falls to help out Jace (and yourself) as blockers may be a good idea.

you should remove Briarbridge Patrol, Byway Courier, and Drownyard Explorers. they are not worth it because they are not worth it and unnecessary.. add the last Tireless Tracker and Graf Mole are much better.you can even add Sphinx's Tutelage. better yet, add another Jace, Unraveler of Secrets. all those options provide more value than those three creatures.

I'd go with a playset of Jace, in decks like this he is too good.

i love the idea here, however i made a few adjustments that seem to work nicely with this deck. First, second harvest works great with any token deck--it will double your clues & soldiers in one swing, and thats it for the shadows modifiers. Now, for those wondering how to improve from other standard sets--might I suggest adding Kiora, and avatar of the resolute. Why?I find myself constantly getting stuck on 1 land wanting to crack a clue. Kiora solves that, as well as untaps a creature, as well as gives me the option for looking for a specific card in a pinch. She's also 1 mana less than Jace--so I subbed in 2 Kiora for 2 Jace, leaving one Jace in.So why Avatar? Avatar is my Sylvan Advocate for this deck. How? Ok, so you just played a 6 drop altered ego for 2 counters, followed by another 7 drop ego for 3 counters. You also have that tireless tracker on board with counters. So play 1 or 2 avatars if you have them.Let's say you already have an avatar out, and you get another ego. Play the ego, copy the avatar--it gets the counters for itself and the counters for avatar. Nice combo. Where to sub in is tough, but I decided to sub in for hydra, because to me hydra just doesn't have anything to do with the clue theme.I changed the mana base, so blighted woodland is a 4 of, ran 4 evolving wilds, 4 yavimaya coast, 2 lumbering falls, ans basics on the rest. Steppe enables tracker, as does evolving wilds. I'm debating with traverse the ulvenwald, as it is land find, but it's much better at delirium when you can search for your ego mid to late game. The great thing about altered ego is that the effect of reflector mage is limited. If your ego gets bounced, you can still play it. It effectively hinders the coco strategy. It's still a tough match though.

Love the Deck i am also working on Clue deck Except i use clue tokens to draw into cards i need like Archangel Avacyn  Flip, Bounding Krasis and Reflector Mage sand Bounding Krasis you may want to look into him i know you may need the Room in the deck but he has worked wonderfully for me disrupting the Foe. Have you tried to add a splash of white for more clue generators? BTW feel free to look at my deck Get a Clue or Die. Anyways Plus 1 from me. Good Job!

Liljramis88, reflector mage and krasis are instant indicators of a bant coco strategy, and as such, won't be a home for altered ego, as you need to cast for the benefit. In additiob, there aren't many ways to get clues in white. Green blue seems to be the only true colors to have a good clue deck, with added benefit from either sacrifice clues or draw cards. Because u need about half clue generator and half clue payoff, 3 colors just gums up the library.

Could quite easily see a playset of Jace, Unraveler of Secrets kicking a$$ in this deck- nice work!

I seem to be missing something here. A great benefit of clues is that you can use Tamiyo's Journal to search for a big-hitter creature and Briarbridge Patrol to summon it without paying the mana cost. You cant, however use this combo to summon Altered Ego because it has an undetermined cost. Ulvenwald Hydra only becomes valuable late in the game and I am really not seeing any early defence against agro decks. At best, this deck would be rather inconsistent and would quickly fold against an agro deck. I would look for an extra early blocker or token generation to make chump blockers.

technically, you can still summon altered ego, it just won't have the boost, it just becomes a standard copy of a creature; so yes, there is benefit to casting it. You are right on the tempo though, thats actually why I altered to play avatar of the resolute, utilizing altered ego to combo it.

I used skyrider elf, even if running 2 colors, because it effectively takes out the ultimate price that black decks are running;;still susceptible to other things, but if they're grasping my skyrider elf, I'm perfectly fine letting my altered ego run free.

Just as some notation, the letter initial for blue is U, since black uses B.

I've definitely been trying to brew a Tracker/Whirler Rogue deck since you can tap the clues. Maybe you might have better success with that idea?

2 things that you could do to make this deck a whole lot more aggressive:

1) Move Seasons Past to the side-board to play 2 big-hitters like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger or Gaea's Revenge. You can search for these with Tamiyo's Journal and summon them without cost using Briarbridge Patrol

2) Replace 1 Altered Ego and 1 Fleeting Memories with Whirler Rogue to make your attacking creatures unblockable.

Having considered a similar deck structure myself, I strongly suggest adding 1-2 copies of Westvale Abbey  Flip.

Briarbridge Patrol + Tamiyo's Journal + Ulvenwald Mysteries into Ulvenwald Hydra into Westvale Abbey  Flip on the end of your opponent's turn brings your nasty-land out prior to your untap phase, generates 3 creature tokens (6 if you're lucky enough to have a pair of Ulvenwald Mysteries) and ensures that you have the creatures to sacrifice to transform into Ormendahl, Profane Prince.

It's basically just another threat for you at the expense of a couple of your lands; strikes me as a strong power spike opportunity.
