This deck is meant to put out pests early game, then switch to mid-range after you're forced to remove my pests to stay out of pressure range.
Rakdos Shred-Freak
, Pack Rat * & draw cards at the end of your turn with Underworld Connections also extra devotion for mid-game.
Early game also consists of baiting removal. & I will be the one doing the baiting. Burn your Dorks, & your loyalists, & your Ash Zealots & you think you've baited me into a Boros Reckoner or an Nightveil Specter , well I've got more removal in Good Ol' Rakdos than meets the eye! Boom! Dreadbore , or Anger of the Gods
Mid-game consists of a pesky Desecration Demon when you've probably already removed my early game Fred-Shred pests, any other removal is baited into with Gray Merchant of Asphodel or maybe even Stormbreath Dragon puts a lot of pressure on you!
Be weary...What you kill may come back to haunt you.
Killing my Gray Merchant of Asphodel only gives me more life to gain with reanimate. Especially mid game where my board is set up with BLACK. Eat your health down, force you to sacrifice creatures if wish to see another turn.
Side in Pithing Needle for AEtherlingRatchet Bomb for Pack Rat | Blind Obedience | Detention Sphere
Duress against controlMizzium Mortars for Blood Baron of Vizkopa
Devour Flesh for
Witchstalker
Fiendslayer Paladin
(PS) Only play testing Abhorrent Overlord at the moment. Must say, it's been funny every time I've cast it so far. The look on my opponents face when I pull out my case of dice, and put 8-14 1/1 flying Harpy tokens on the battlefield and say, "Ready for Herpes"?
Late game annihilating finisher. Even with reanimate, the tokens stay even after exile, unlike Master of Waves Yuck!
This deck is solely my creation. Main board & sideboard. It was created on 10/22/13, still not completed. Seems to be doing very well for itself! went 3-1, then 1-1 in top 4 playoff, received 2nd place, (& that was w/o any Desecration Demon , no Hero's Downfall & only 1 Anger of Gods pulled my 2nd Stormbreath Dragon in winnings, which I intended on buying till pulled it. I'm meant to play this deck!
