Pretty solid deck here, I love the interactions and combos you manage to pull off in these colors...

/bad joke

But in all seriousness, maybe adding the actual Armageddon ?

There's a lot of Jund interactions in my Five-color Beatdown and Reanimator deck. It's focused on Dragons because of my general, but you can get a pretty good idea on what your colors can do based on the cards there, brainstorm some ideas, and hopefully make a great build.

Some combos worth noting for land destruction:

Mycosynth Lattice + Darksteel Forge + Vandalblast or any Wrath (Primarily Planar Cleansing .

Liquimetal Coating + Any Smelt effect.

Always think outside the box, especially with a mechanic where there's not too much going for it. Land destruction tends to come with a huge cost tag, or a very ineffective rules text. So I hope these ideas helped.

Violent Ultimatum sounds like what you want. Also, Sinkhole > Blight .

Kresh could be real nasty with sac outlet (like Greater Good and similar) and some stealing effects.

New card 'Rescue from the Underworld' can be really good, even tho' it requires you to have a creature in play. You get to sacrifice a creature which boosts Kresh and then you get two creatures back for even more EtB-shenigans! :D

You need more creatures. Feed the Pack , Grave Titan , Inferno Titan , Thragtusk are all good choices. Things like Bloodthrone Vampire are good as free sac outlets for Kresh. Jarad's Orders is good, too. I strongly recommend Blasphemous Act because often Kresh will be the last thing in play. Insurrection is an instant win, and with a sac outlet more so. Momentous Fall can be huge, and Fling and Soul's Fire have both been on-the-stack win-cons in my friend's Kresh deck.

cool! there are alot of sweet combos' right now my Blasphemous Act is in a standard deck.. I definitely have some of the others in my maybe pile from pre-construct and at lower costs like Bloodthrone Vampire and Fling would definitely speed up the deck!!!

no Savage Lands ? it's Jund in a land.

September 20, 2013 4:27 p.m.

also Death's Presence might work well here, as it basically doubles Kresh's ability.

also also Strionic Resonator to literally double Kresh's ability.

If you're aiming to sacrifice and reanimate your own guys, you want guys that are either really big or can get really big to abuse Kresh the most when they die. Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer , Worldspine Wurm , Lhurgoyf . Also both EDH legal Eldrazi titans (if you either have a big enough budget or can trade) shuffle your graveyard back once they're sacrificed. If you can't afford the titans, Pathrazer of Ulamog , Artisan of Kozilek , It That Betrays give a decent amount of counters to Kresh when they die, and also provide some utility (artisan reanimates, it that betrays steals sacrifices). Also, if you're doing self-sacrifice, you must get Disciple of Bolas to abuse the above suggestions for both life AND cards. Sheoldred, Whispering One is an excellent reanimator and benefits you while hurting everyone else. Regrowth and Eternal Witness can get any card back from the grave. Volrath's Stronghold can return creatures from the graveyard, but it's also $20.

Include Exquisite Blood and Wound Reflection for hilarious shenanigans with Havoc Festival

Plague Wind goes in every one of my black decks and is absolutely beautiful with Kresh out, especially when an opponent has a hulking field. Other sweepers to consider include Blasphemous Act (everything dies except your 28/28 Kresh, which grows to a 59/59) and Decree of Pain which draws you cards for each creature destroyed.

Sudden Spoiling before a boardwipe doesn't help Kresh, but it'll allow you bypass Avacyn, Angel of Hope . And after that, Rise of the Dark Realms

Bow of Nylea =hey, wanna block me?

Balefire Dragon demands fly-blocks or it could wipe a person's field, especially against token decks.

Cards I would cut:

You don't have enough lands to make Borborygmos Enraged worthwhile.

I would cut Myojin of Infinite Rage because it hurts you as well and land destruction doesn't benefit Kresh. Creature wipes benefit Kresh a lot more.

Blitz Hellion would be better for your deck if it got sacrificed at the end step instead of shuffled in.

I'm not a fan of Roaring Primadox because bounce doesn't help Kresh and only temporarily deals with certain creatures. Replace with Visara the Dreadful or Reaper from the Abyss .

Diabolic Edict is weak because it lets your opponent choose what creature. Also Misguided Rage for the same reason.

Hope this helps!

I can't believe I forgot about Akroma's Memorial . Also Loxodon Warhammer .

September 29, 2013 8:44 p.m.

MrKnify says... #20

nice i like the loxodon, boosts the power for the sac, lol.
I've found good use of Roaring Primadox but its really a one off combo with Broodmate Dragon , Fierce Empath , Mwonvuli Beast Tracker , I am using several cards as "fillers until I get what I need to replace them, and from what i've seen of your suggestions, I will definitely need to hit ebay up.

@thrashtilldeath I've taken some of your suggestions, picked up a box of 2014, and some theros, added some cards removing some of the... lesser useful ones. And the deck definitely has a bit more synergy, I am working on getting some of the cards you have mentioned as they would word extremely well in this deck.

Cheers, and Thanks!

Gonna list a couple of suggestions for ya.

Harrow , Cultivate , Lightning Greaves , Command Tower this is a must,
City of Brass , Swiftfoot Boots , Primeval Titan

Mostly to do with mana ramp. You have some high casting costs in there, and I think 3 or so mana accelerators. I think you could use a couple more in there.
