Why thank you...I think lol. Your reaction was kind of what I was going for. I like your idea for Anvil of Bogardan. I will definitely have to find a spot for it.

Disgustingly powerful deck +1, where is Teferi's Puzzle Box though?

Enral are you trying to kill us all?

kengiczar: Well, this deck is already ridiculous on paper, why not make it even more disgusting? hahaha

I am seriously considering that card but I'm not sure if I want it more than Time Spiral I'm trying to not use every possible wheel since I can tutor for wheels as needed, but it is certainly good. Anything you would cut to to find room for it?

Kind of a noob here with Doomsday combo, but why not just use Life from the Loam rather than Regrowth?

You can dredge it, it's the same casting cost, and it's "up to three", so you can still just get back one land.

Oh! By the way, if I try building a budget version of this deck, would you recommend Diminishing Returns over Timetwister or is the one U less casting cast vital?

I feel like even with all the wheel effects it'd be safer to go with the win cons mono mana symbol b discard typically uses.

soymonk: Life from the Loam is a great card but it is not a good fit in this deck as I run so few lands. In almost all situations Regrowth will be a better draw considering that in addition to getting my fetchland back I also can get any other card that ended up in my graveyard (i.e Demonic Tutor & Windfall). If on a budget I would not use Diminishing Returns. I would use Whispering Madness and Day's Undoing as they have far less of a serious drawback and are easier to cast.

kengiczar: I'm curious what win conditions are you referring to?

WiffleWaffle says... #14

Oooh! I definitely thought Regrowth said "target land card". I see why you're using it now!

And thank you for the suggestions! This seems like such a neat deck and a great way to abuse Leovold.

Lilbrudder - I had to look them up and I was wrong. Only a couple of them work on all opponents: The Rack, Black Vise, Liliana's Caress, Shrieking Affliction. It's not worth pursuing, please forget I made the suggestion.

absolutely bonkers, the exact opposite of fun in any environment. well done.

you dont think he will get the ban hammer do ya?

August 18, 2016 1:48 p.m.

Lilbrudder says... #20

I suspect he will :-( possibly very quickly. Not because he's better than Zur or Derevi, but because he lends himself to an unfun strategy that will ruin casual groups much in the same way Prophet of Kruphix did and rather than pack more removal and improve thier own decks they will complain until the commitee intervenes. The silver lining is that all BUG decks share most the same good cards so you can switch to someone else without losing much financially

Just plain disgusting.

I think that (not for this deck) Dream Halls is extremely breakable with this guy. It's a key piece in a lot of Enter the Infinite combos, but Leovold potentially makes it one sided.

What's weird about this guy and the inevitable banhammer is that anyone with two braincells can put together him and the Windfall thing. I just wonder why wizards dev can't haha.

I suspect that they created him for cEDH to keep storm and other fast combo decks in check (which is badly needed imo). He has the potential to be a necessary evil like Force of Will is for legacy. He hoses or at least slows down all the the other top tier combo decks and he really doesn't combo off until turns 4-6 after he has done his Windfall thing. In a meta with him, other combo decks will likely have to interact a little to kill or counter him, which will make thier turn 2-3 wins less consistent. I think that within ultra competitive circles he is wonderful addition. Unfortunately he is a casual groups worst nightmare. I really hope this just leads casual players to use more removal in their decks as that would make the occassional spike sighting less traumatic on thier psyche. But as my grandma used to say you can wish in one hand and shit in the other...

Dream Halls is an interesting card. Ill have to find a use for it in one of my decks. Thanks your your disgust :-)

Firstly, this is horrifying. I highly doubt people will enjoy playing this.

That said, do you really need mana dorks? You have great lands and mana rocks, I feel like the mana dorks are a bit redundant. Other than that, yikes. I really don't want to sit down across from this guy.
