Azlask EDH deck

If you want to use a bunch of coloured Eldrazi cards that aren't token specific, play Ulalek. If you want to play an Eldrazi Titan deck then play Zhulodok or Kozilek. If you want to play a bunch of Eldrazi cards for Eldrazi scion/spawn into titans, then play Ulalek.

Azlask looks like a great commander for Eldrazi scion/spawn tokens, and it is good as a payoff. The problem is that Eldrazi scion/spawn tokens are not well supported compared and Azlask does not make tokens. When you used only Eldrazi spawn/scions you end up with an issue of having high cost cards to make you tokens and then needing to sacrifice those tokens to gain experience. It's a balancing act but you'll have a hard time being consistent with your token creation to be able to have a decent amount of Eldrazi tokens on the field and a decent amount of experience. This means the deck starts to fall behind unless other players at your table.

The only thing about Azlask that is specific to Eldrazi scion/spawns is the indestructible and annihilator. The experience counters come from any colourless creature dying and the +X/+X goes on all creatures. In this deck we have bolstered the token creation with thopters so that we can capitalise on those other effects. Having thopter creation we can start having simple flying blockers to prevent damage and die, giving us experience and stalling to game more so we can build up more.

To further our experience gains we have a few other experience commanders to gain experience faster and use their effects
