"Devoid (of) Control"

I've always enjoyed long, drawn-out games in Magic. But having just jumped back in recently with Battle for Zendikar, I can't say I have the tools I'd prefer for such a deck. I'd very much appreciate help in making this deck a little more consistent - just a few things to consider.

I'd rather not_ have_ to drop money on Fetch Lands, nor do I feel they'd give this type of deck the advantage they do others. I don't mind a protracted game and with only two colors, as long as I get double Blue sources for my Counter spells and 1 Black, I can play just about anything in the deck. But if I happen to get any fetch lands (particularly Polluted Delta), I'll play around with the formula.

Next, I'll admit I'm dissatisfied with a number of cards. The Oblivion Sowers and Eldrazi Skyspwaner are, more or less, utility filler. Sower can get me from 6 to 8 mana, meaning Ugin. Skyspawner feels a bit lackluster though, naturally.

I have been considering:-2 Oblivion Sower+Silumgar, the Drifting Death (Hexproof, Flying)

I've also considered that, due to running four Ugin, Haven of the Spirit Dragon feels much weaker. Tempted to cut it for another Mage-Ring Network, to make Ugin easier to cast period.

I'm very much hoping that Oath of the Gatewatch gives more to Devoid, I'd love to have an improved version of this deck about that time!
