So I have a Mono-Black Devotion legacy deck, which is one of my first "good" decks modified into a legacy deck. One of my friends saw it and asked me: what was the original deck like?

It was like this.

The main combo is Necropotence + Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx . With the combo, you can put down almost your entire hand in one turn, and then take another seven life to replenish your hand. You can either win via Gray Merchant of Asphodel , Torment of Hailfire , Exsanguinate , or just overrunning your opponents w/ creatures.
