I'm sorry 10 with 1 casting cost, still though. I would like to know how more lands would be beneficial.

I haven't been any many situations where I could do something if I have more lands in my hand. I usually play a land every turn and even if I don't, with the mana curve I wouldn't be able to cast anything even if I did play a land because I either casted it already or it's waiting for a Elvish Piper or Fauna Shaman to be effective. I will try test playing it with a couple more lands and see if it makes a difference. Thanks.

This deck plays a lot like the one I have set up, and everyone I play against hates mine, usually 4 player FFA matches. But anyways if you shy away from modern, going to legacy infinite mana combo you can look into Wirewood Channeler with Pemmin's Aura that was my 2nd-3rd turn infinite mana combo, and it only requires 2 elves in play.

Thanks wolverine4217. It started out as a Legacy deck years ago. I like both of those cards but find this combination pretty effective. What I would need "if anything" is more speed, especially if I wanted to go Legacy with it. Thanks though.

Very interesting. Do you generally rely more on mana ramping to the Eldrazi Lords, or Elvish Pipering them onto the field? If Elvish Pipering, I'd suggest Staff of Domination because for 4 mana you can untap the Piper. It also can infinite combo with Archdruid. Also, I'd suggest Karn as a great planeswalker who adds intense removal, and is a major win con.

Might want to change the Naturalize to Nature's Claim . Even though you might be able to produce a lot of mana a points, early game its less of an investment. Turn two a Nature's Claim and a Elvish Mystic compared to just one Naturalize .
Khalni Hydra is good for devotion also Leatherback Baloth and Kalonian Tusker are cheap early game creatures that are handy for a devotion count.

There is some serious power here. I'm looking to get into Modern and I think I'd really enjoy playing this a lot. I noticed your sideboard doesn't have any infect hate. Do you not see that in your meta? I'd love to take this to the next GP I go to, especially after they ban Eldrazi. May I suggest Melira, Sylvok Outcast.
I've been playtesting this deck here on tappedout and I seem to mulligan a lot, do you have this problem in paper? I've printed out some proxies and I'm going to take it for a spin.
Great deck!!

Thank you for the +1 and feedback. I put Melira, Sylvok Outcast in my sideboard. I'm pretty sure this deck is ready for FNM. 20 lands seems to work out well with my mana dorks and draw power. Best of luck at GP. Let me know how it goes.

i think it doesnt matter in wich order you reveal the creatures from the genesis wave, since they come into play at the same time and you can stack the triggers as you want. that means mr. hoofy always triggers for all creatures on the battlefield. i also love ramp, i play a similar build: Genesis Aggro ;)Link:

Playtesting this deck in paper I've had you use D20s to keep track of all my mana! LOL!

LordOfMishap I've been playing this in paper with proxies and I'm doing very well. 2-0'd an Affinity T1 list that my son played. He's not as familiar with the deck as I was with this so that's probably why I did so well. I've changed some things, let me know what you think.

Why?? I have 14 cards that produce mana 12 of which cost 1 to cast. Not to mention the mana curve works. Test play it multiple times and you'll see why there are 20 lands. Thanks for the input though.
