Hey guys, back from my hiatus from the inter webs. In my time away, my decks have seen changes. This one though, has been the greatest.

Same basic strategy as before. Kick ass with the Cult. Pretty much I've made it faster and more streamlined. I get out my Pygmy attackers, building up devotion, slap a heavy hitter for game. I can also remove any threats and swing with Master, then burn for game.

My sideboard is being made based on my bad matchups, so is being updated as they come up. Chained to the Rocks kills me, so Peak got the first spot. Also, decks that tend to move faster than me have won before, and they are always red or Rakdos.

Hey guys! Well, my LGS did Skins prize type last night, and my deck decided to let me go 4-0 for the first time. Here's how it happened (Note, the record shown after each match is the DUEL RECORD, not the Match Record)

Round 1- Mono-G Devotion (Splash Red for Xenagos, Domri, and Xenegod)

Duel 1- I started off with a Temple, they played an Elvish Mystic. My turn, I burned it with Shock, then played Cackler. They passed turn two after playing their Temple of Abandon. I played Shredder and another Cackler, hit for 4. They played a Forest, dropped another Mystic, and passed turn to me. I landed a Desecration Demon and swung with my 2 Cacklers, who both made it through. They then played an Arbor Colossus. I played my Master of Cruelties and ended. They dropped their 5th land and monstroused the Colossus, killing Dessie. I double Doom Bladed, then swung with Master and shocked for game.

Duel 2- They started faster, but my removal kept them empty. My turn 5, I played Master. Turn 6 I hit and used Lightning Bolt.

2-0

Round 2- Orzhov Control

Duel 1- I had no clue this Archetype even existed. He got rid of my removal with Sin Collectors, used Hero's Downfall on my creatures, and Blood Baroned me to death. I put up an ok fight, getting him down to 12 life before Blood Baron of Vizkopa hit the board, but it was bloody.

Duel 2- He sideboarded, he later told me he thought my deck was slow Rakdos, into his late game cards. I drew into a perfect curve. T1 Cackler, T2 Shredder, T3 Shredder and Cackler, T4 Mogis for the handshake.

Duel 3- Nothing too impressive, he mulled to 4, then proceeded to draw no lands.

4-1

Round Three- The Mirror Match

Duel 1- We traded Shocks and Lightning Strikes for a bit, until I played Des. He couldn't find an answer, so that was a rather quick one.

Duel 2- I sideboarded in 3 Peak Eruptions for my Doom Blades. He played a fast army of little guys, but burn + land destruction = GG for this one. It was match closer though.

6-1

Final Round- Mono-U Devotion

Duel 1- I started aggressively, playing Cacklers and Shredders. Unfortunately, he played his play set of Todebinder Mages, locking me down, a Thassa, God of the Sea and a Master of Waves.

Duel 2- I curved out with removal while he struggled to maintain a board presence. He lost Tidebinders, [Frostburn Weird[/c]s, Judge's Familiars, and a Master to Spark, Lightning, and Doom Blade. Rakdos made his first appearance of night to finish him.

Duel 3- He flooded out. He still locked down some creatures with Tidebinders, but he was only able to play 5 creatures this entire duel, compared to his 7 lands.

8-2

So, that was my night. A couple people said they wanted to try out Rakdos now, so it'll be an interesting week. Tell me how you went last night, and what decks you ran into! See you guys later!
