Pretty Standart Devotion to Black. Why do I use Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, and only 2 Mutavault s?Well first of all, you can't run 4 of both. Not even 4 of one and 2 of the other bc it just screws up your mana for Nightveil Specter and Bile Blight. The Mutavaults are really good against control or to boost your PackRats but you don't really want more than one on your board bc you want to play more permanents and cant always spend your mana on attacking.and that is where Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx comes in. It allows you to play more and more permanents to boost your gary. Sometimes you can even play multiple garys on one turn. and that is usually lethal.Im playing this deck since feb. and the more I play it the more i like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.
