Taking mono-red devotion to new heights!!

This deck started out pretty experimental, but it's actually turned out a lot better than I thought it would - having played a few matches and tweaked it a little from the original list, I've won probably more than I've lost with it, which is a good record for me!

I can quite often get the Burning-Tree Emissary into mana dude draw, which makes things easier - then from there it's a matter of building devotion and dropping a Fanatic for 10+, and/or dragons. Stormbreath Dragon is a clear winner in the raw power stakes, but Scourge of Valkas has also been great, obviously as a devotion enabler but also providing a potentially repeatable source of removal, as well as just being a 4/4 flier with firebreathing.

The other creatures have been fine, Dragon Egg s actually provide a decent deterrent for ground creatures, while Reckoners are still Reckoners - they may not be as dangerous as they once were thanks to the ridiculous amount of removal going around in Standard at the moment, but at the very least they draw a removal spell away from my dragons, and if they are unable to play an effective role in combat they are still, again, a great devotion enabler.

So far this has been my most successful deck of Theros Standard, and it's a lot of fun - once I figure out how to reliably beat Mono Black I'll never need to play another deck!
