Love the deck, love your username. Would +1 both if I could, but unfortunately I can only go that on the deck. Thought of maybe Xenagos, God of Revels and Chord of Calling mainboard? Xenagos as a 1 of, chord, maybe 2 or 3? Both really powerful cards.

Nixin72 I like both of the cards and I'm actually trying to find a place for Chord of Calling just because it could be huge in finding that one creature I need. As for Xenagos, God of Revels, Every creature I attack with is already pretty big in power and could usually be trump blocked so adding on more power won't really help without trample. I'd rather keep that spot to make sure some of my other cards show up more. Thanks though!

elpokitolama Karametra's Acolyte is just a little slow for my deck. And are you sure about that? I can float 43 mana turn 4 lol

Its_Ares I honestly have never even used a sideboard and have had no need for one. Although if I was to use an actual sideboard, I'd probably put in a few Hornet Queen and Setessan Tactics.

This deck is surprisingly good.

I've been playtesting it against my deck, Beating the Netdecks - Mardu Burn. While my deck did when 2-1, I'm usually pretty biased towards my decks, so take that with a grain of salt.

I've played ramp decks in the past, and they are certainly fun. I think they can definitely thrive in this standard environment, especially with the relative lack of control decks.

I might suggest taking out the Nylea, God of the Hunt. While having trample is very useful, it's not very necessary in your deck, as your large creatures will probably be hitting lategame, and you can kill the board through other means (namely, Polukranos, World Eater.

xantos Thanks for the suggestion. I also agree that this deck has trouble against burn decks. If you can control the mana dorks early then the ramp is severely cut off.

As for Nylea, God of the Hunt, I find her to be very useful. With not much answer to removal, I often find late game I only have 1 or maybe 2 large creatures. other midrange or aggro decks will most likely have more creatures that they can just trump block with. With Nylea, I can now ensure that their damage can get through. Also, since I'm floating such massive amount of mana, I can almost always effectively trigger her activated ability 3+ times and since I'll use it on a creature with trample, it's like a more expensive burn spell that I can use over and over.

I was just in too many situations when little 1/1's could trump block my 10/10 and there's nothing I could do to get that damage through.
