Welcome to my take on RG devotion

The entire idea is to get out as much damage as possible, where possible.

Xenagos, God of Revels definitely gives my creatures a leg up.

Kalonian Hydra and Arbor Colossus are the two most ideal cards to play after Xenagos, God of Revels.

In a pinch Rubblebelt Raiders is a decent alternate if I need it.

In a deck like this, evasion is KEY, else you won't be getting anywhere soon.

I'm currently running;

Nylea, God of the Hunt and Legion Loyalist to give my beat sticks trample where possible.

What's better is that I can use Gruul Charm to perform alpha strikes (or wipe out my opponents flyers)

if that fails, Blood can make or break any given match (also doubles as removal).

Xenagos, God of Revels and Hammer of Purphoros are always good since they help me pump out more damage sooner.

Xenagos, the Reveler and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx are how I get out most of my creatures through ramp.

Updates Add

After extensive play testing, the deck simply doesn't function as well as it does with out Rubblebelt Raiders or Gruul Charm.

I tested various burn spells to see how the replacements would fare instead of Gruul Charm, unfortunately Mizzium Mortars didn't do as well as I hoped.

in playtesting, I found Rubblebelt Raiders (not to mention that it usually wins games if left unanswered) and burning-tree emmisary really saved me many times when I get colour screwed when devotion gets online (for either colour, thankfully).
