JamestheJoo, yeah I know, but as I said in the description, I don't usually put in lands until I'm sure on all the spells in the deck. That way, I can figure out how much island versus how much plains should be put in. :)

this is probably the most boring deck I've ever come across. It doesnt look interesting, it doesnt look perticularly good due to the budget... whatever, its personal preference. +1 though, just b/c I can.

DERPLINGSUPREME thanks for the +1! But at the same time. . . Ouch. . . "this is probably the most boring deck I've ever come across." That hurt, * sniffles while holding back a tear * but alas, I promised not to cry. I get a little of what you mean, but this deck wasn't made for flavor. I wanted to make an affordable control deck for the average causal player, and have an acceptable win/loss ratio. So, I had many limitations. This deck could be much better if I threw out the budget, but at the same time, it is the defining matter of the deck.

I thought about adding in a background, (#FamousWaterMelon), but I decided to leave that kind of stuff for players' pages.

I think that you should cut Capashen Knight for mana leak. Supreme Verdict and Azorius Charm are good, too. AEtherling is a very good wincon.

Gideon17, thanks for the suggestions! I have thought about adding in both Supreme Verdict and Azorius Charm, but my only concern is that I don't want the deck to become too similar to my other W/U control. They are definitely going in the maybeboard for now. They'll probably go up to replace Ponder in the sideboard in the future.I definitely agree with Mana Leak, but I'mma sideboard it for the moment until I buy me some. Thanks again!

Yeah, Augur of Bolas is actually one of my favorite cards. I mean, come on, a 1/3 creature, (I usually use it to defend), that also puts an important card in your hand. All that for only two mana!

Okay since your are on a budget and it looks like you dont care were the cards are coming from..I shouldn't tell you this but I just gotta cause its control..You must get knowledge pool..there is a broken combo with knowledge pool and Curse of Exhaustion...here is the break down..Curse of Exhaustion lets your opponent play only 1 spell..knowledge pool. when it is on the board you must cast into it and cast another card to get the first one you cast..out of it..but with Curse of Exhaustion your opponent is on permanent lockdown..O treasure mage will help get knowledge pool in an instant. I mad so many friends mad cause they cant do anything so they are forced to quite!!...its an evil combo I recommend..

I'm considering adding in Knowledge Pool and potentially Treasure Mage in addition; but, you have also reminded me of a strategy I thought of while making the deck, and forgot. The card you made me remember is Erayo, Soratami Ascendant. It goes brilliantly with Curse of Exhaustion, thank you so much!
