Sorry, no updates for a long time. Kinda got caught up with other things and haven't been to FNM in about a month. Also got smashed last time I did go, so I haven't felt very motivated.
Regardless, made some tweaks. I think I added a 4th Hero of Iroas , but I'll have to check.
EoCB is pretty nice, but I feel like I want some more power for the mana cost. It's basically a slightly better/slightly worse Ethereal Armor . For 3 mana though, I'd rather be playing a Fabled Hero , and for 4, Holy Mantle is much preferred. I don't know what I would take out in place of him.
Phalanx Leader is for weenie decks. This isn't a weenie deck.

I used to play this.. I suggest sideboarding Brave the Elements ... good for offense and defense

ropidon I run Gods Willing over BtE because this is more of a voltron deck than a weenie deck, so I usually don't have more than one or two creatures out at a time. It also gives a heroic trigger and scry that Brave doesn't provide.

why not put in Ajani's pridemate and then give him hopeful of eidolon? it's a beastly way to gather coutners. also phalanx leader's a strong one too

I would run 4x Ajani's Presence maindeck to better protect your guys, but thats meta a dependent choice

Raoul_de_Cambrai The pridemate is a little slow for me, and I don't want to rely on lifegain to ramp counters. For comparison, Hero of Iroas is a much better 2 drop because he turns Chosen by Heliod into W, draw a card, put a +1/+1 counter on a creature. I would be swinging for 3 with mana open to protect, where with the Pridemate he would just be a 2/4.
robotwalle You make a valid point, I often find myself siding them in because most decks run at least some form of removal. I would probably run 2 main and 2 side though, and bring the rest in against Azorius/Esper. What would you reccommend siding/removing (aside from spear, that's probably coming out regardless)?

I'm not too sure. I run a U/W version of voltron weenie so thats more my expertise haha. I would probably take out your least effective creature for 4x ajani's presence, for anti removal and an additional +1/+1 on the turn its played. But monowhite probably plays different, so Im not sure

Have you considered running any Daybreak Coronets? It's an amazing enchantment provided the creature is already enchanted (easy to do with this deck).

Pseudalopex_Culpaeus Thanks for the suggestion, but this was my old standard deck for RTR/THS standard and has since been decomissioned. Were I to move it into modern, it would essentially need to turn into Bogles, which isn't what I want to do.

NmVision As someone has already mentioned before me, Hero of Iroas over a 1 drop isn't a great idea. Favored Hoplite starts and builds faster than hero.
iceteademon I prefer Fabled over Brimaz simply for the surprise face smashing. When a Brimaz hits the field, he's a decent threat that can bulk up with enchantments. Fabled, however, starts out fairly innocent (if they don't know about him) but can turn around or finish a game so incredibly fast. Brimaz doesn't have that explosive power (i.e. the ability to swing 14 lifelink on T4).
fijord Yeah, I figure you're probably right about SotL. He's nice, but only really sees play if I have no other creatures in hand. Sometimes he shafts my draw with Chosen by Heliod too, so I think HoI is a better replacement. As for Sphere of Safety , it's way too slow. By the time I have 5 mana, I should have already won and not need to worry about counterattacks.
