Sideboard

An attempt at BW aristocrats using cards from the new set (Aether Revolt). Will it work? I'm going to be testing it out at GP San Jose and modifying it. This isn't really death & taxes, it's not really lifegain, but it feels a little like both. Now that the banhammer has dropped on standard I'm excited to see if this deck can do some work. I feel like Thraben Inspector needs to be in here...but where?

so the deck has two big weaknesses, card advantage and susceptibility to sweepers. To try and solve this I've built the sideboard so the deck can attempt to take a more pro-active route against control deck board wipes, and I've swapped out the Lone Rider  Flips from the main for Thraben Inspectors. And since I don't have the riders I pulled the Essence Extractions as they were mainly in there to flip the riders. In the open space I put in a couple of Lilianas and another Stockpile, since they stack so well and allow scrying. So far things are smoother, I'm toying with the idea of a playset of Fatal Push since with clue tokens now in the mix I'm finding it easy to activate revolt.
