Might want to replace 4x (of the 8x!!) Fatal Push with 4x Anticipate. Also, that's a lot of creature hate, but I think that there seems to be a shift back to having some control decks that are viable. Thus, you'll want a sideboard to get rid of some of the creature hate for additional counter spells. Void Shatter or Spell Shrivel might be good, and maybe Pull from Tomorrow.
Cool deck. +1 from me.

Still working on this, people.
I need to test it a bit.
BioProfDude I've been running a Creature hate deck since Shadows Over Innistrad with very good results.
I will move Counter spells into the Mainboard if those prove more useful, but I don't want to go overboard with how many of them I run.
I thought about Anticipate but to me Glimmer of Genius is better, and falls on the curve where I want my draw to start.
Since I have Ob Nixilis Reignited for draw as well I don't think I'll need Pull from Tomorrow. I'll keep it on the back burner, for now.
hardhitta71194 Dark Intimations is going into the Sideboard. Good call.
I don't want it Game 1. I'd rather see what I'm facing first, then judge its efficacy.

That moment when you try to upvote and it takes you to an exert = win deck

Fair enough, I just thought it would add some nice flavor. It's handy sometimes as well.
I love the deck btw, I would defiantly run Disallow in the mainboard but that's just my playstyle. The more counters the better.
I think Bolas would be proud. He's my second favorite dragon. (Don't tell him I said that please)

Dear, dear sweet ACDAMAN, can your humble brain not fathom that you were merely misdirected to another deck to show how bad arse this one is.
Never trouble yourself. I fixed the little decky link JUST for you.
hardhitta71194 only fools run Disallow in the Mainboard.
REAL minions understand that it's better to run cheaper Counters until you see what your Opponent has, so you don't give your true game away.
Watch, and learn.

Thats a +1 for me Argy, but the +1 is for you and not Bolas, he's a coward and a bully.
And that looks like an awesome deck; getting the big bad dragon down looks simple with this setup.
Have you considered Walker hate for Superfriends decks (cards like Never)? As you know, Bolas hates all other walkers.

Is 23 lands good enough for a tri-colored deck with a large focus on 4-drops that intends to eventually cast 6 and 7 drops? I think you're on the low side especially since you lack early selection and draw.

WHAT IS THIS INSOLENCE?!!
AgentGreen I would ROAST you alive ... but you do make a good suggestion, minion.
I do hate Planessswalkersssss.

Never does two things Dragon. It kills Walkers; and it is graveyard hate as well with it's Aftermath cousin Return.
But don't worry; while my friend Argy is going to kick ass on this plane with this deck (with your help of course), The Gatewatch will kick yours in the story
June 4, 2017 9:06 p.m.
Ah the Gatewatch.
Avengers wannabes.
They have yet to face any REAL power.
They think they are strong for having knocked a few Eldrazi over the head?
Wait'll they get a load of me.

Are there enough instants played mainboard in standard right now for a 3 of Dispel being useful? I feel like you could cut one or two for some more lands or maybe a one of pull from tomorrow. Also just want to say, maybe that new black boardwipe over yahenni's expertise. Don't know if giving the enemy a timewalk is worth it tho.

I do not like Bontu's Last Reckoning.
Especially due to the fact that at the moment I am able to Counter or kill most Creatures. It seems to make a Control deck very vulnerable in that the Opponent could get a window in which to cast Aetherworks Marvel.
I will keep it in mind for later.
Dispel is awesome. I've run it in that many decks.
I especially like it in the Maonboard because, if I Side it out for Disallow, my Opponent isn't prepared for Disallow.
The draw for this deck has been spot on in testing. I don't really want a Pull from Tomorrow clogging up my hand early in the game when I could have something of more value to cast.

It looks like you have 23 lands, not 26. And to my understanding that's a bit low for control decks. And I would still hold that cutting a dispel or two and throwing them sideboard isn't that bad. Because in what situation would you want to board in 4 disallows, you're already running 3 negates and 3 essence scatter. I guess in the control matchup, but then dispel is better than disallow.
June 5, 2017 3:02 a.m.
Hey nice deck I love Bolas too! If you want I made a deck for him! ;) I played a lot control decks and I think that at least 2 copies of Disallow into main board helps a lot probably instead of Negate. And also 3 Gearhulks is perfect! Anyway love your approach!
June 5, 2017 3:08 a.m.
Of course you love me. Who DOESN'T love me?
Argy has explained this already, let me see if I can do it with more subtlety.
THERE SHALL BE NO Disallow IN THE MAINBOARD!!
You have miscounted. TWO Torrential Gearhulks. THAT is the perfect number.
People who run more than that are painting a big sign on their heads that screams, "Look at me! I have no confidence in my deck!!"
June 5, 2017 3:23 a.m.
maverin116 do you think that repeating yourself will change my enormously brilliant mind?
Think again.
You need to learn how to READ and COUNT.
This deck has TWENTY SIX Lands.

Looks like a deck I would enjoy playing. Dark Intimations could add some spicy flavor.
