Beat to the face with the best effect ever printed.
Ideally, get Llanowar Elves in starting hand, accelerate into a T3 Traxos, Scourge of Kroog, then T4 Insult and Fling for 14 face damage. Ramp with Grow from the Ashes to buff up your mana generation and thin the deck so you can draw more flings. Time Yargle drops carefully to untap Traxos for big meaty trample attacks, and use Fling as a combat trick if a block might kill the Yargle.
For added love, Demonic Vigor and Supernatural Stamina make Flinging less costly, and Blessing of Belzenlok can help get back life lost in the early game. Insult / Injury puts in serious work, acting first as a damage doubler (where even a flung Llanowar Elves can hit for a fair bit) and then Aftermath-ing for small spot removal and squeezing through a tiny bit more face damage.
Get added value by dropping a second Yargle to untap Traxos, and then Fling the first Yargle in response to the legend rule. Fling Grunn, the Lonely King after Declare Attackers to benefit from his power double - if kicked, a Grunn Fling hits for 20 damage (with Insult and Blessing/Vigor/Stamina, Flings for over 40 damage feel really good).
Dark Bargain helps refill your hand, and lets you dump unneeded lands, but Insult / Injury and Heart-Piercer Manticore are also solid options to dump to the yard. Heart-Piercer Manticore especially doesn't mind being in the graveyard, as the Embalm ability is resistant to counter effects.
Kamahl's Druidic Vow for 6 can hit every target in the deck, and isn't too hard to reach with elves and ramp. Or in time of need, you can cast it for X=0 and get a Traxos untap.
If your opponent counters your Fling, you probably lose. To be safe against counterspells, attack with your fatties instead, using your persistence tricks against destroy effects and only fling when they tap out.
I still haven't worked out a sideboard for this deck. I assume it'll have trouble with control, and aggressive removal will deny us fling targets. A transformative sideboard might help convert the deck into a more straightforward beatdown deck game 2 by trading fling-centric parts for more combat tricks or combat-centric creatures, or additional Traxos untap support. Also looking to use a fancier landbase to improve early-game consistency, but I don't want to either break the bank or make Grow from the Ashes whiff lategame.Suggestions welcome, because meta is hard.
