The goal of this deck is to beat your opponent by covering their land with enchantments and pinging them to death with small unblockable guys. Contaminated Ground and Pooling Venom do most of your damage, especially when combined with Hidden Strings on an unblockable critter.

Defense is provided mainly by Royal Assassin which can kill up to 3 creatures per turn when you play Hidden Strings . (Start your turn by tapping the assassin to kill something, untap assassin with strings then kill something else, then cipher strings and untap assassin again to kill a third critter. That is a satisfying turn).

Hidden Strings is used to: 1) tap the land enchantments to do damage, 2) tap an opponents creature and/or untap Royal Assassin, 3) untap your land so you can play more cards, 4) tap your opponents lands to stop counter spells, 5) untap your creatures if you need a chump blocker.

The creature base for this deck is weak. I feel that hexproof is required to avoid rampant loss of Hidden Strings - but that really limits your choices and makes getting damage through hard. I feel like the deck is missing a closer and it sometimes take too long to do 20 damage. Lifegain kills this deck. Any suggestions on a good budget-friendly closer?
