Initially started as Dimir Mill which worked out incredibly well for kitchen table playing, but its viability seemed less than existential in terms of actual competitive play. As such, I have opted to turn it into a Dimir Control deck, with a bit of a budget.
Primary win-con is Consuming Aberration and AEtherling.
I'll eventually get another Temple of Deceit. Not feeling shocklands since they'd be $40 for a playset
Feedback is greatly appreciated
Despite the initial deck description, this deck has evolved into a fairly pricey Dimir control deck. Thanks to the help of the MtG community it has developed into a viable and, hopefully, successful deck. (Read update for card explanations)
Latest change revolves around Jace, Memory Adept. While he is a fantastic card in terms of milling decks, after playing a few actual games with my roommate, I find that he's a rather disappointing draw no matter when I draw him. As a result, I'm taking him out of the deck for x2 Opportunity. If I can ever acquire Jace, AoT, he will be put in, but until then, Opportunity is the new slot filler.
I have x3 AEtherlings listed, but I'm still using x2 and x1 Consuming Aberration since Pithing Needle has become so prevalent.
Also, while Thoughtseize will be a welcome addition to the deck when I stumble upon them, they're too far out of my allotted price range at this point.
