Dimir Guildgate s should be swapped for Temple of Deceit s, take Omenspeaker and Duskmantle Guildmage out bc your scry lands will take care of the scry...guildmages take more mana to work well. Deathcult Rogue is good, but i would go with full unblockable Phantom Warrior . Crypt Incursion is counter productive with you having 11 creatures and it would kill your Wight of Precinct Six . I would put in Far and Away's instead, or Cyclonic Rift .

Thanks on those suggestions. Temple of Deceit costs a bit since it's about $5, but yeah, replacing the Omenspeaker s would definitely be good. Deathcult Rogue is more flexible since I can use B or U to summon him, and I don't really run into Rogues much. Cyclonic Rift is good since I need more control in here.

Nice deck first and foremost. I just am curious to why you don't have any creature removal or counter spells with the exception of Doom Blade and Psychic Strike and even then you are only running two of those each. You could easily get eaten alive by creatures that way.

Well I'm trying to just focus on milling them out as quickly as possible. Adding more creature removal and counters lowers the chances of getting more mill cards, so I want to keep those numbers as low as possible.

The reason why I bring this up, is because I run a similar deck... http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/milling-more-or-less/. Sorry for the link for some reason my deck's not found apparently, but anyway that's my deck. and It's pretty similar to yours and I'll tell you want with it I can Mill relatively quickly, though things don't really start happening until about turn 3. That's about when I start counter spelling and milling.

Yeah, I see. Well after being able to test it finally, I think I'm going to go to 4 Cyclonic Rift , since that can save me pretty well. That will replace to 2 Far / Away , but I think that's a really good trade off.

That would be a good trade off. I was actually thinking of adding a couple of them. I know I need a board clearer of some kind. I just don't want to splash white for one.

Hey elfattacker +1 for a pretty good deck.

I'd have to suggest Nighthowler instead of Deathcult Rogue , his unlockable is nice, but since you have Aqueous Form you could always pay the bestow cost, equip him to Wight of Precinct Six for double +1/+1 and then Aqueous Form on top of that for massive damage.

Check my mill deck out if you'd like Library killer

Fal1entrixt3r thanks for the suggestion. I actually really like that idea, and I have a couple Nighthowler s laying around, so I'll gladly try that out next time I can go to FNM.

The deck is pretty solid! One thing I would say is you Don't really want to exile any cards at all, I would get rid of Reap Intellect it's a good card no doubt but it doesn't help your Consuming Aberration or your Wight of Precinct Six , also take out Omenspeaker and put 2 more Paranoid Delusions the cipher is great especially for the cards you can use it on especially Deathcult Rogue ...

I would say get rid of Nightveil Specter but he does fairly well cause he only exiles one card at a time and is a good cipher target. I also prefer Mind Funeral over Mind Grind practically does the same thinf for lesser mana cost. Check out my deck, it's not standard but has the same sort of feel and idea Of Darkness Spawned

Hope this helps!

While Reap Intellect doesn't help out with cards in grave, it's such a good control card that I can't pass up having it in here. Omenspeaker letting me scry is really important because I've been finding that the order I get my cards in really matters. And Mind Funeral is definitely better than Mind Grind but this is a Standard deck, and Mind Funeral is Modern. Thank you though!

Really neat deck! Just good classic Dimir and I like the inclusion of Rouge's Passage that's pretty smart. Maybe you could put in a Haunter of Nightveil, those things are really annoying and once the milling starts to take it's toll and your opponent has no choice but to break out it will make it that much harder for him to do so.
