My take on Blue/Black control, made a good amount of changes after this last FNM.I've always taken a slightly different approach to control, instead of running as many lands & board sweepers, i prefer to just go 1 for 1 until i can get one of my wincons out, . The pace of the deck changes a lot and it can coast of off 3 or 4 lands some games for a rather long time, and you have to learn what spells to value more against certain match ups. For the most part i just put a variety of independently good cards in the deck to let give me a variety of answers, and the side board is largely to deal with Aggro decks, but also fix a few weak spots again what ever I'm playing against...Still debating splashing Red just for Keranos, God of Storms..

Spells

Dissolve , Dissipate & Negate -- The flavor text on Negate says it all, counter things you couldn't otherwise deal with or remove.

Thoughtseize & -- Knowledge is power! And strip that power strait from your opponents dumb hand.

Hero's Downfall -- Still the best removal in standard.

Bile Blight -- Cheap removal that can take out a lot of pesky creatures for cheap, it can also get you easy 2 for 1s since it hits all creatures that share a name.

Silence the Believers -- Good one of, Strive lets you get value later, and sometimes Exiling instead of destroying is nice.

AEtherspouts -- A good way to turn a game around against most creature decks.

Through Time & Murderous Cut -- Getting used to the delve cards was a bit weird, but they have been some of my most valuable removal and card draw.

Creatures

Omenspeaker -- She works fairly well against Aggro, 1/3 is just enough to slow down your opponent and scry 2 helps you dig for Drown in Sorrow

Prognostic Sphinx -- My primary win con, and he does it so well. A 3/5 flyer is just the body you need to be able to block most threats in this game, being able to chump Siege Rhino and Storm-breezy. The Scry 3 is more powerful than most people realize, you can usually guarantee you will draw the answer you need. And being able to discard cards to give it hex proof means all cards in your had can save this bad mother fucker, or you can force fuel Delve with it.

Keranos, God of Storms -- More like Keranos, God of Control, amiright? But seriously he is really good

Stormbreath Dragon -- Can finish games quick and most people don't suspect it in a control deck. And the pro white can win games against weenies decks.

Walkers

Jace, the Living Guildpact -- I keep one around just cause i had a 15th slot in sideboard. I don't care for him to much, but on occasion he has won me a game.

Liliana Vess -- I've been hesitant to run her, and keep her in the deck, but she has never under performed. Can VERY EASILY get a 2 for 1 with when you force your opponent to discard, then they slow down to kill her or use another spell to do so. -2 To tutor for your wincon or the perfect answer, Ult wins games.

Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver -- Steal all your opponents creatures or just slowly mil your opponent to death. Fantastic for a 3 drop walker.
