Halimar Depths Jace's Archivist and Sage Owl provide a filter to this deck, thus i felt comfortable runing 15 heavier than i usually do. and i will be milling myself a little with Jace's Archivist so the extra 10 cards work as a buffer.
mana at 37% of the deck and with the filter cars you shouldnt b missing mana drops.
CMC 2.8 and it filters fast, but i still feel like i could b weak to zerg.
cards like Killing Wave Damnation hav been sugested, but ive been leaning more towards more bouncy cards such as Unsummon or mayb go single target destroy. and for that matter, why not sneak in a few counters. im really banking on getting
Fog Bank
or Royal Assassin out early for the defense i lose no running those.
However at this point i dont seem to hav any room for that. although i did run a hand fun of tests with 80 cards in the deck. i had
Dimir Infiltrator
s Beseech the Queens and Underworld Connections for search and more draw, but trying to balance between having that many cards and still havin the deck be concise is rough.
in the end, i really just wanted to make a mill win condition deck because i took it as a challenge. ive seen so many terrible mill decks just flop, and i wanna see if i can get a decent one going. but it still needs lots of work, and im sure it always will.
im specailly excited to see whats going to come out for dimir in the new ravnica sets.
