Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is a Dimir, Mill deck that me and a friend put together. The main tactic is to spam mill spells to reduce their deck down to nothing. I'm trying to make it able to cast around 2 spells each turn.

A big problem I've come across with it is that i have trouble defending against even light creature attacks. My deck is pretty light on creatures and I would like any suggestions on how to better defend myself while sticking mostly to the mill strategy.

Some cards i am thinking of putting in are Drowned Catacomb, Whispering Madness and any other good cipher cards to use with Consuming Aberration mill ability. I was also wanting more cards that are similar to Consuming Aberration mill ability where casting spells makes the opponent mill. I was also thinking of replacing Grindclock with another Dimir Infiltrator, or another Codex Shredder since Grindclock is somthing that needs to build up and my strategy concentrates more on spamming mill spells.

This deck has gone through a lot of tweaking, here are some cards that used to be in it..-4 Deathcult Rogue -Bonehoard- 3-4 Destroy the Evidence -Lord of the Void-Stolen Identity-Mark of Eviction (Might go good with Balustrade Spy, re-cast mill)- Dimir Machinations -2 Coerced Confession - Ribbons of Night -2 Duskmantle Guildmage- Dreadwaters

Thanks to everyone who comments.

Updates Add

I'm now playing with some guys who just play casual, so i converted it to more of a modern format. I kept the sideboard mostly standard/extended so i can switch it back.
