Picked Dimir for the DGM prerelease for the best chances at BUR (Grixis) and my secret ally was Izzet.

The initial build evolved into the final build listed. The deck started with different cluestones and lands to splash green instead of white for Putrefy. The next iteration dropped green splash for white to utilize Ascended Lawmage and my gates but I had 18 land and 2 Cluestones because I was running Minotaur Aggressor maindeck with Essence Scatter being swapped in for it a lot. Eventually I dropped a Swamp and Minotaur Aggressor for maindeck Shadow Slice and Essence Scatter.

Sire of Insanity won me an entire match. It interacts strangely with Soul's Ransom. I was happy with the Gatekeepers running 6 gates. Lobbercrew did work all day. I had Ascended lawmage in the deck for 4 matches and only drew it once, in the final game of the final match, and it helped to win a long comeback game.

The final decklist was played for and won the last 2 rounds of a 5 round prerelease and I ended up 3-2 resulting in 9th place of about 23 players.
