Goal of the deck

This deck is a 75% deck that is first and foremost intended to be fun to play and is somewhat budget. It is far from competitive and many of the inclusions in it are not there for value or power-level but because how much fun they are to cast.

The goal is to fill the opponent's graveyard with creatures and spells and then either make use of their graveyard or mill them out.

Gameplan and key cards

Fill your opponents graveyards with your creature abilities, see: Jace's Archivist, Jace's Mindseeker, Mirko Vosk, Mind Drinker and Phenax, God of Deception, or with spells: Fascination , Mind Grind or Talent of the Telepath . Extractor Demon and board wipes can also accomplish this.

When the graveyards are fat, cast their spells and take their creatures with Diluvian Primordial , Geth, Lord of the Vault, Puppeteer Clique, Sepulchral Primordial, Wrexial, the Risen Deep, Fated Return and Animate Dead.

Make your opponents draw extra cards with Howling Mine and Temple Bell and then punish them with Notion Thief, Dreamborn Muse , Fate Unraveler, Underworld Dreams, Cyclonic Rift.

Lazav, Dimir Mastermind is the commander of the deck but Wrexial, the Risen Deep and Phenax, God of Deception are also pretty effective as commanders. Wrexial may be better in a meta that is more spell heavy and Phenax makes the deck more mill oriented.
