Homebrew I've been toying around with since Theros. It's pretty simple, abuse the heroic mechanic with cipher.
Agent of the Fates
This guy is the cornerstone creature of this deck, cipher allows for his heroic to keep opposing players at bay and makes a great bestow target for..
Herald of Torment
Nice evasive beater who comes down early and can trigger my heroic creatures late.
Artisan of Forms
Swiss knife heroic creature, all types of fancy interactions when you start copying creatures on both side of the board.
Sage of Hours A guy who can grow really big really fast with cipher then gives extra turns as a nice bonus.
Nivmagus Elemental A great early drop who can grow super huge with all the eaten cipher cards AFTER they targeted your heroic guys and triggered them.
Hidden Strings The cipher card you want to see most often, it just ignites this deck and makes it go off.
Trait Doctoring
It's a one drop ci[her spell, it's ability really could be anything, but it both targets and can be eaten by nivmagus, all for one Island. It can also mana fix you for sideboard cards, as well as allow you to Hero's downfall that BBoV.
Aqueous Form Triggers heroic, AND allows you to get that cipher to trigger every time you attack.
Boon of Erebos Tons of nice interactions with heroic while giving your attacking or blocking creature versatility. Helps avoid losing that ciphered creature to removal.
Hero's Downfall Creatures and Planeswalkers are both things, this deals with them.
Whip of Erebos With all the possible life loss in the deck, this helps offset it as well as bring back Agent of Fates for a trigger or two.
SIDEBOARD:
Erebos, God of the Dead For those lifegain decks, as he gets online pretty easy with both herald and agent out. Card draw with whip out is also nice.
Xathrid Necromancer Comes in for the Herald of Torment against decks that run mass removal like supreme verdicts.
Duress Side in against control and enchantment matters decks that run sphere of safety.
Deicide
Side in against God centric decks and enchantment matters decks. Can be cast with mana confluence, or trait doctoring a land.
Gainsay
Side in against mono blue decks and U/W-U/W/x decks
Negate Side in against control and enchantment matters decks.
