Dino-Crisis: Dinosaur Survival Mode

Unknown* BRGW RGW (Naya)

A_Person

I will update this as Ikoria gets spoiled.

Overview

You are adventurers exploring the new lands of Ikoria. You have been tasked with mapping out the local area. Survive the onslaught of dinosaurs to earn the City's Blessing!

Gameplay

Explorers

All the players have a combined life total of 40. They take their turns at the same time, and can block for each other. Very similar to 2HG. Each player gets 3 turns to set up. They cannot attack during these turns. After the third turn, the Dinos and Explorers alternate turns.

Whenever the players attack the dinosaurs, the dinosaurs cannot block. Instead of damage being dealt to the dinosaur "player", the dinosaur deck gets milled cards equal to the amount of damage.

Everytime a City's Blessing is flipped up, for any reason, the players immediately draw 2 and collectively gain 5 life. Once players reveal the forth City's Blessing, the players win at the end of their next turn.

Dinosaurs

On the dinosaurs turn, flip cards off the top of the dinosaur deck equal to the number of players. All the revealed cards are cast, and use the stack. (Tokens included.) If all the revealed cards are tokens, flip another card and add it to the stack if it's a multiplayer game. The dinosaurs are effected by summoning sickness. All dinosaurs must attack each turn. If a dinosaur has to fight, the biggest dinosaur will fight the biggest thing it can kill. If a dinosaur has mutation, it mutates so it can make the biggest, scariest dinosaur possible.

Set up

Solo – 45 Cards - 1 City's Blessing shuffled into the bottom half of the deck

2 Players – 60 Cards 2 City's Blessings shuffled into each half of the deck

3 Players – 75 Cards - 3 City's Blessings shuffled into each third of the deck

4 Players – 100 Cards - 4 City's Blessings shuffled into each quarter of the deck

I'd recommend shuffling the legendary dinosaurs to the bottom part of the deck if you want a more consistent game.

All Relentless Raptors in the list should be 3/3 Dinosaur Tokens.
