This deck focuses on starting the game with 2+ mana to try and resolve a game winning card early on. These cards include Chalice of the Void on X=1, Trinisphere, Karn, the Great Creator and Shifting Ceratops. In order to start the game with extra mana the deck runs Ancient Tomb and Crystal Vein as sol lands as well as Chrome Mox, Elvish Spirit Guide and Chancellor of the Tangle as additional green mana sources. Once Upon a Time can be used to find Elvish Spirit Guide, a sol land or a value creature.

After resolving Karn, the Great Creator the sideboard has a Mycosynth Lattice and Liquimetal Coating to destroy your opponet's lands, as well as a Tormod's Crypt for graveyard hate. Value creatures include Shifting Ceratops (cannot be countered and protection), Questing Beast (hard to block and deals with plainswalkers), Tireless Tracker (card draw) and Voracious Hydra (creature removal) as well as Garruk Relentless   for additional removal or creatures.

The sideboard has Scavenging Ooze for graveyard hate, Outland Liberator   for artifact/enchantment removal, Run Afoul for dark depths decks and Choke for control/storm.

There is the possibility to add 4 x Prismatic Vista and a Swamp in order to open up some more sideboard options, like Abrupt Decay and Assassin's Trophy.
