The main goal of this deck is to use as many dinosaurs as possible to kill my opponent. The deck is mainly creatures, consisting of 16 dinosaurs and 13 dinosaur helpers (such as Otepec Huntmaster). The deck is mostly aggro with a little life gain mixed in. (I.e. Priest of the Wakening Sun, Huatli, Warrior Poet)

Big hitters:

Burning Sun's Avatar: Nice 6/6 that deals some damage to my opponent and their creature.

Thundering Spineback: It is a little on the expensive side at 7 mana, but can become cheaper with Otepec Huntmaster and Kinjalli's Caller. Its a 5/5 and boosts my other dinosaurs which is nice. Also, if I have enough mana lying around I can make 3/3 dinosaurs.

Huatli, Dinosaur Knight: Huge help to my dinos, giving them +2/+2 counters. Its -3 can help me get rid of my opponent's creatures easily after I uses Huatli's +2 a couple of times.

Huatli, Warrior Poet: This lets me gain life. When I get this and Huatli, Dinosaur Knight out I can use Huatli, Dinosaur Knight to make my creatures' powers big and then use Huatli, Warrior Poet to gain A TON of life. I can also make 3/3 dinosaurs with trample which is never a bad thing. This card also lets me deal damage easily to my opponent's creatures.

Honorable Mentions

Gideon of the Trials: I put Gideon in the deck because I had him collecting dust in my MTG binder since I don't play white often. He could be helpful every once in a while by preventing my opponent's big hitter to do damage to me. He also can become a 4/4 which could deal some damage to my opponent. Overall he's a nice addition to the deck, but IS NOT NEEDED for this deck to run the way it's supposed to.

Swashbuckling: What is there not to love about this card? For only 2 mana you can give a creature plus 2 and haste!! I could cast Raptor Companion and then put swashbuckling on it, making it a 5/3 with haste on turn 4!

Appeal / Authority: Since this deck has 29 creatures this card is amazing. It can help make a creature huge and deal a lot of damage to my opponent since it gives trample.

Final Thoughts:

I got quite a few dinosaur cards from the prerelease I went to and thought it would be a cool idea to make a deck with them. I'd appreciate any criticism as long as it is productive! If you like the deck I'd love an upvote!!
