One of the best, if not the best blue spell to aid white (heroic) creatures imho is Triton Tactics , which you might add to your sideboard at least. Otherwise I like your deck a lot! :-)

I actually do have two of those left that I could use. I imagine this'll be really helpful for after the rotation too. Thanks! =)

My new Standard-Deck (in the making) goes a similar way ... maybe you can share some of your experience in this matter?

Especially for post-rotation, and just in general, I think you would enjoy Ephara's Enlightenment , also, Favored Hoplite over Battlewise Hoplite , really because he is an awesome blocker and potential voltron target (hitting him with an instant will not only +1/+1 him, but also prevent all damage to him that turn. It is really a scry vs damage prevention preference thing, but it may be something to consider.

Looks fun to play.

Hum, I'll definitely give the Favored Hoplite a few test runs, thank you! As for Ephara's Enlightenment , I already have that one in the sideboard xD

It's definitely a fun card to spice up the game, but I feel that - it's causing a lot of conflicting choices in-game. E.g. do I play another spell on the Fabled Hero or do I play a creature to get the Enlightenment back?

Naturally, if I do manage to get a Fabled Hero out, I will want to play as many spells on him as as possible. With a Mana Pool of 5 I could either play an Aqueous form, maybe two Ethereal Armors, a God's Willing and two Mizzuim Skins; or Ephara's Enlightmenment twice if I combine it with a Hero of Iroas and a cheap creature (such as the Favored Hoplite). It's a nice gimmick for lategame when there's plenty of mana to spare but imo it's a card that shouldn't be in a deck too often.

Totally didn't see Ephara's Enlightenment in your sideboard. You have a good point, I just tend to like it because with Hero of Iroas , it is still only a 2 drop, add 2 +1/+1 counters (if heroic) and flying. Which is nice. I do get what you are saying, having a lot of options in a single mana-cost can be problematic. Also, with Khans coming out (lots of three color stuff), I imagine Soldier of the Pantheon will be seeing more play due to its protection from multicolored. Just a thought :)

Oh yes definitely. Sadly I don't have one of those yet, but I'll keep my eyes open for them. Thanks =)
