Golgari is a gross nasty goozey oozey mess. So I dove into its muck and found myself at home.

Sure we lack scry lands and gods but I've learned from silly Brimaz, "WE NEED NO GODS"

Black and green has a lot of kill spells but I want to abuse the advantage of weenie board wipes. I really have loved cards like Drown in Sorrow ever since Pyroclasm. Golgari Charm is nice but I needed a step up and didn't wanna dabble in Anger of the Gods if I don't have to. I had to sacrifice that idea for big creature killers.

Essentially I'm trying to keep my board alive while wiping the opponents. I do see the danger in having Experiment One and Scavenging Ooze while running such a card as Drown in Sorrow but they are amongst the only applicable 1-2 drops that can beef up before the plague is upon them. Hence its sideboard presence

With Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix I don't have a problem with keeping my spells funded.

With Courser of Kruphix and Scavenging Ooze losing health doesn't really have its normal effect. I gained +8 easy a few turns.

The sideboard with this deck is the most important aspect. The current meta has a lot of mono-black, mono-blue, and R/G monsters. When in danger of big creatures like Selesnya etc, take out Drown in Sorrow throw in Doom Blade, then take out Dreg Mangler and put in Lifebane Zombie . Mono black gets all the Dark Betrayal it can handle, and take out Drown in Sorrow. I used to main board that good ol' drown because any form of aggro deck or even mono blue can't handle that much destruction, but now big creatures are back in force.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you!
