I was trying to build a black control deck and when I discovered the card Liliana's Caress I started working on it. After testing for a while I came up with this deck.
The deck is pretty simple to play. On turn one you would like to play a Shrieking Affliction or a Quest for the Nihil Stone, that can make you win later.
On turn two, you would like to play a Liliana's Caress in order to inflict damage to your opponent every time he or she discards a card, or a Waste Not in order to have more mana, put a black Zombie 2/2 token or draw a card when he or she discards a card.
On turn three you can start playing. You can make your opponent discard two cards with Hymn to Tourach or Wrench Mind (which is 4 damage points if you already have on the battlefield Liliana's Caress) or even playing Augur of Skulls and sacrificing it. You can also play Blackmail or Mire's Toll for deciding which card your opponent discards. If you don't really like your hand and your opponent didn't play any spell or has 5 or 6 cards in hand, you could play Dark Deal, which is 10 or 12 damage points on turn 3. You can play Funeral Charm for making your opponent discard a card, or for destroying 1/1 creatures that give advantage to your opponent creatures.
About the creatures of the deck, I had a hard time deciding them, and I'm still not so sure about Typhoid Rats, but they are a good defense. I'm not so sure about the Nezumi Shortfang: I've never played it, since you need 4 mana and 2 turns for making it useful, and only if your opponent has 1 or few cards in hand. The Hypnotic Specter is a good choice on turn 3, and the Nyxathid is great when your opponent have 1 or 2 cards on hand. The Black Cat is a good defensive card as well, and the Augur of Skulls is a really useful card. The Ravenous Rats are usefull as well.
In the end, this is the deck I'm more happy with, but I'm thinking of replacing the Nezumi Shortfang for another card. Maybe another Blackmail or another Funeral Charm.
