Disco Inferno! (Izzet Artifact Burn Combo)

Standard* Burn Combo UR (Izzet)

ChancellorOfZero

Sideboard

This is a deck I've been experimenting with and I think I may have got it down. When this deck works, you'll be singing "Burn baby burn!" right along with me.

So, the core combo of the deck is Reckless Fireweaver and Panharmonicon. Reckless Fireweaver pings your opponent every time you play an artifact. Panharmonicon will not only trigger it, but its ability allows it to trigger again each time you play an artifact. Get enough of them together, and the damage output becomes terrifying. At full power you're dealing 12 damage with each drop. Viashino Pyromancer is your backup damage source, which deals 8 damage per drop and can even eliminate Planeswalkers if you need them to.

Most of the rest of deck is designed to keep you alive until you get to your board state, either by thinning out the deck while triggering the Panharmonic Fireweaver combo with draws and pulling lands like Prophetic Prism (which also gives you mana control for your Aether Hubs), counter like Spell Swindle (when used late-game it can deal serious damage with ideal board states. We're talking 15 Damage on a 5-drop with your choice combo 3 Fireweavers + Panharmonicons), gain life with Filigree Familiar, or getting Energy counters through Aether Swooper and(another trigger with its on-attack effect while answering flying threats), and Era of Innovation (a powerful draw engine). Implement of Combustion is a one-drop trigger that burns and lets you draw after you crack it. Waterknot ties down your opponent's creatures to keep them from damaging you or blocking.

Your late-game bombs include the aforementioned Spell Swindle, Baral's Expertise, and Saheeli's Artistry. Baral clears the board out of some major threats while also allowing you get anything that's a 4-drop or lower onto the field. Need to play another Panharmonicon or get a Fireweaver out to tank a smaller creature? There you go. Saheeli's Artistry lets you get up to two copies of your choice: one artifact and one not, but that turns into an artifact. That means you can either get more triggers in general or another on-drop effect if you need one.

Speaking of whom, Saheeli Rai is your last piece. Her +1 lets you scry and ping for even more damage if you need it. Her -2 is scarier, allowing you to copy a creature or artifact in play (and the creature copy is also an artifact, so yet another trigger) for a turn. But her ultimate let's you pull three artifacts of your choice and put them straight into play, meaning Saheeli can also make for a nice meat shield lest you get a second or third 'Con out and become impossible to deal with.

Now I just need help with side-decking. Anyone have ideas?

Updates Add

2 Aether Swooper and 2 Era of Innovation moved to Sideboard +2 Glint-Nest Crane and Blink of an Eye +1 Prophetic Prism added to Main Deck from Sideboard +2 Implement of Combustion

This new iteration of the deck has given the deck the last bit of fine-tuning to be good and added a sideboard to deal with threats that are specific to other decks.

Main Deck

Aether Swooper and Era of Innovation was moved from the main deck to the sideboard to keep the combo around, but it's less useful than it's proven to be

The second Prophetic Prism added from main deck as well as Blink of an Eye for draw power. The latter also grants control for non-land permanents such as Seal Away and also disrupts Planeswalkers.

Glint-Nest Crane is not as effective as it could be, but it's a 2-drop with higher toughness and flying than Aether Swooper and lets you add more cards from your hand. Get a free scoop up on your artifact of choice if you need one and also keeps some cards safe from mill decks

Speaking of draw power, adding 2 more Implement of Combustions for more damage and draw power as 1 drops

And now for Sidedeck tech:

Incendiary Combustion and Star of Extinction deal with token swarm decks such as Vampires and Saprolings.

Commit/Memory is your anti-mill/control tool. Wait for them to tap out and then cast Memory to reverse all of your oppnent's work in one swoop

Fireforger's Puzzleknot is another damage option. If you use this, Era of Innovation and Aether Swooper can also be used due to having more cheap artifacts to drop in

Captain Lannery Storm is a 3 drop with haste that adds a treasure for Fireweaver procs and forcing your opponent to move against it

The Antiquities War is basically another Glint-Nest Crane with the potential for turning your artifacts into 5/5 beatsticks for a turn. Only use this as a last resort, especially for your Panharmonicons as they're key to your damage combos

An extra Fight With Fire and 2 extra Blink of an Eye just in case
