I don't much like the idea of removing more lands; I've got a lot of mana Myr, but the deck requires quite a lot of mana to function and it's so much slower if I'm not getting a reasonable number of land drops. I'd be more inclined to drop a couple of the mana Myr themselves to make space for Myr Reservoir, which I'll probably test out.
The advantage of Lodestone Myr over Myr Battlesphere is that the 'Sphere requires an infinite number of Myr on the battlefield to deal infinite damage, whereas the Lodestone can get infinitely big as long as you can get an infinite untapping loop with Galvanizers. The Battlesphere is a vastly better play when you're not comboing though.
I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're suggesting in your other comment (#25).

In the first combo on your deck dicription is Clock of Omens + Prototype Portal + exiled Myr Battlesphere = infinite 1/1s and copies oy Myr Battlesphere. Using the infinite mana combo (a single mana producing myr like Gold Myr or any myr in the cycle you can keep untapping things to use Clock of Omens ability and create infinite Myr Galvanizers giving all other myr +1/+1 infinite times making an infinite army of infinite -1/ infinite -1. The -1 is because the Myr Galvanizer does not power itself up.

Oh right, OK. Yeah, it does work with a Galvanizer under the Prototype Portal too.

And in my opinion much more it is much more effective against everything except Elspeth, Sun's Champion.

Sure. In practice it's pretty rare to get the infinite mana combo and the Clock of Omens + Prototype Portal combo going at the same time and the best creature to exile to the Portal is the one that I actually have in my hand at the time.

Yah youre right. you would need 3x Myr Galvanizers to complete the combo
June 13, 2015 3:23 p.m.
Well, no, you only need one; exiling it to the Prototype Portal will get you the three you need to combo off eventually.

I love Myr decks! +1 for Myrs! Check out mine for inspiration, it does VERY well. Not as budget but I'm sure you'll find something!:p All The King's Myrs

Thanks for the +1, Wizard_Of_Odd; Myr are pretty great. I'll take a look at your deck.

Do you think Darksteel Forge would work in this deck, or at least work in the sideboard? Getting the mana for it wouldn't be an issue, and it would help against artifact removal.
September 16, 2015 2:09 p.m.
Thanks for the suggestion, SoundTramp. My problem with Darksteel Forge is that, even with all the ramp the deck has, 9 mana is just so much mana for something that doesn't affect the board or contribute towards killing the opponent at all. The nature of the format means that dedicated artifact removal is relatively rare and I'm more likely to get hit by things like Council's Judgment or Swords to Plowshares, which the Forge doesn't protect against at all.

What about Blinkmoth Urn? More mana is good and it ramps you really fast, my be too expensive though.
September 17, 2015 10:01 p.m.
Thanks for the suggestion, Coinman1863. I don't think Blinkmoth Urn would be too expensive, but it might be unnecessary; I'm usually overflowing with mana and struggling to find things to spend it all on. That being said, it's a good idea and I've put it into the maybeboard to test out at some point.

So what about Chimeric Mass? It's a great mana sink. If price wasn't a concern then I would say Hangarback Walker cause it's awesome.

I would suggest Howling Mine but it is to expensive for what you are looking at. it would allow you to draw more cards, getting rid of the problem of how long the deck takes to be set into motion. this card works great with both Ebony Owl Netsuke and Skullcage which are both in your price range. If you want to see a few more artifact cards look at my deck Mono Black Mill Demon Deck. it may have a few artifacts that you may like.

You may also Pennon Blade. it would be good for this deck. It is also in your price range.
September 18, 2015 4:23 p.m.
Well, the current front-runner to be added to increase the deck's threat density is Myr Matrix, which is both more resilient and has better synergy than Chimeric Mass.
Thanks for the suggestions, Gravelman62. I just don't have enough ways to tap down Howling Mine to reliably break the symmetry of it and Pennon Blade is a card that's really only good when you're already winning, which is not what the deck needs.

I found a thing to do with your mana... Mycosynth Golem. I Think it would totally be worth for playing Myr Battlesphere and other big stuff early.
September 18, 2015 7:55 p.m.
Thanks, Quicksilver.
Coinman1863, Mycosynth Golem essentially just creates yet more mana and I'm not even sure I'd be able to get him into play earlier than I would a Myr Battlesphere itself. Besides, it's too expensive for my budget and I would prefer to keep all of the creatures as Myr if possible.

Unwinding Clock may be up your alley. This would allow you to work your myr magic during your opponent(s) turn. Mana cost is fairly low, however not sure if ~4.50 is well within your monetary budget.

It should finallegend, this is an MTGO deck and it only costs 0.19 tix.
September 25, 2015 1:23 p.m.
Yeah, as Coinman said, the price on MTGO is within budget. Unwinding Clock is something I've considered before and I can no longer remember why I decided against it; I'll put it back onto the maybeboard. Thanks for the suggestion, finallegend.

I am going to take a wild guess and say that Vesuva would be too expensive? Because if not, that is posts 9-12, not Thespian's Stage.
SpiritFangz says... #1
It makes no sense to remove a Myr Battlesphere for a Lodestone Myr (comment #9) when Myr Battlesphere can do it him self and garuntee game over with infinite damage.
