I feel like Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast might have a place in here. I'm adding them along with a few other small cards to a "Sideboard" for special cases and testing.

Ekuryua I took your advice and added Bosium Strip in place of Recoup. I'm pretty happy with it thus far. Thank you for reminding me that such an awesome artifact exists.

Wouldn't Blood Moon fit into this deck quite well also?

I've tried Blood Moon in here. I found that it actually nerfed my utility lands, without giving me enough value in return.

Don't think I've ever seen a mono red edh deck played before. Lol, I still remember watching a match with a guy who was running a white-red edh deck. During a match he played Armageddon as a last resort in mid game. To note, it was a five player edh game and no one could respond to it. The devastated look on everyone's face was priceless. xD Such an evil card, but love it!

What an interesting deck. I'm in the process of building a Chandra themed deck. I've been going back and forth on the idea of other creatures besides the planeswalkers. I think there is something to be said for going sans creatures.

Thanks. Yeah there's something really fun about winning without a creature. Chandra makes for an interesting commander because people fear her Ultimate. Cast her once or twice, draw out their hate, then sit back... You'd be surprised how often you'll be ignored while you build up your defences. Then you strike. :)

Just curious, why dont you run Price of Progress? It hurts you the least in mono red and can straight up 1 shot some opponents late game for a mere 2 mana

You know, I did originally play Price of Progress but cut it for some reason a while back. I don't deny that it can have a big impact, but I'm pretty sure I replaced it with something a little more proactive. Maybe an spell like Comet Storm
