What does everyone think of Jaya's Immolating Inferno? Does it have a place here?

Fight with Fire is interesting... I missed it when the set was spoiled, so I'll certainly give it some thought now.

Can you think of anything else? Right now I just cut a Snow-Covered Mountain to make room for Jaya Ballard.

i will feature this deck, if you tell me how you get enough mana for lethal comet storm etc! my friend plays neheb and i really want to build my own burn general (we don't like overlapping generals in my playgroup) and i was thinking Chandra so this would be a good base for my build, just curious!

neheb gets like 40 mana so easily its silly to compare, but i know this is more of a ping general

I have tried to include enough mana accelerators to allow for big spells to blow out the board. Mana Geyser can be very effective for this.

Truthfully though, my main aim is to land a Repercussion or Vicious Shadows, then blow out the board with Blasphemous Act or Star of Extinction. Because I am creatureless, I can walk away unschathed while my opponents can easily take lethal with only 3 or more critters on board.

Does swapping out Incendiary Command for Fight with Fire make sense to anyone else?

I feel like it doesn't. The flexibility is nice in the command and you can choose all options if you Fork it in someway. I guess it's a slightly better damage rate than an X spell, but you can probably wheel your hand to get another kill if you are that close to knocking someone out. two cents

This deck doesn't have nearly enough mana. Rocks, lands, mana in general. Since you're running crucible, might as well play some fetches. Armillary Sphere also helps hit land drops. Also a bit surprised you don't play Outpost Siege.

I would definitely cut: doubling cube, caverns of despair, planar portal

Thanks for the comment. I disagree about the amount of mana, but to each their own. I find what with the various wheel effects, I am able to have mana fairly consistently.

Well, I noticed you are only running 33 mana producing lands, and hardly any rocks.

I goldfished your deck with the tester 5 times and I never made more than 4 land drops before i started missing land drops

In my mono red slobad deck I run 33 lands and around 20 rocks, with lots of draw and cantripping baubles, and sometimes still have mana problems.

Didn't look trough all your revisions, but have you considered Mudslide yet?

If you want to be really silly you could also include Risky Move (too bad about its CMC though)

Risky Move is interesting, except that I really want to remain in a creatureless state most of the time, due to cards like Repercussion. I'll keep it in mind for other builds though. Thanks for the suggestion!

Sunstone and Cavern of Despair are not on MTGO. Have you thought about replacements to let this be played on MTGO? Right now, I'm looking at Sudden Impact and Gaze of Adamaro. Any other suggestions?

Would love to start a group chat w/ people on this. Anyone on Discord or similar platforms? I have a version of this deck that's slightly more budgetized (I already owned the Tabernacle as a legacy lands player, so thats still there).

Hey there, thanks for the comments. First thing, I'm really sorry that your last post went unanswered... I never saw it and had no idea that you'd written me..

Sudden Impact and Gaze are both worthy cards that I actually did have on the list in an earlier Form. Personally, I'd suggest just running whatever is the best Card for your meta.

Concerning group chat, or Discord, I'd love that. There's nothing like it currently in place, but if there's the interest, it could always be started.
