Enchantment (1)

Basic strat:

Straightforward attack with threats that are all either recurring, evasive or add value. As many as possible are must-answers, to reduce time to gain field presence.

1) Cheap, reuseable critters with built-in recursion. Bloodsoaked Champions & Flamewake Phoenix

2) Accelerated beef - in the form of Generator Servant + Underworld Cerberus . worst-case scenario, the Servant is a 2/1 for 1R that will keep the opponent guessing. Middle case is they use removal on it, and best is it gets its desired effect of turn 3 hasty Cerberus

3) must answer clocks on curve: Master of Feasts DOES give them an extra card on turn 4, but it does not give them extra mana to cast them. Also, I've found little difficulty tapping four black and sacrificing one Generator Servant to haste out two Masters on turn four. Stormbreath Dragon is a sub-optimal target for Generator Servant play, since it already has haste - but it is evasive and has protection from several of the key removal cards.

One maindeck Tymaret, the Murder King because it is just such a nice interaction if there is a stall to late game.

I've been looking for Underworld Cerberus to have a home for a while and I think this might be it.
The Hound's downside, bringing the opponents graveyard back to life also, is brought under control both by having both nasty threats and by maindeck Agents of Erebos - expensive for a 2/2, but by exiling the opponents graveyard on turn 3/4, you are set for a win/win trade if they kill the Cerberus.

Previous cards that were in deck but have been pulled out: Hammer of PurphorosCollateral Damage (in favor of Bile Blight)Scuttling Doom Engine - too much / too little

Many of the exile effects are white, and mainboard Stormbreaths make those hard to cast - as well as hold off any stampeding Siege Rhinos.

Currently only running one Shaman of the Great Hunt both because of lack of more copies in-hand, and because it is too tempting to try to throw in mana to activate it's draw ability.

Other maybe's Outpost Siege - I want it to fit, but it doesn't quite do the trick.

So testing the previous version did surprisingly well vs Sultai control, boros tokens/burn and Abzan whip. Without maindeck Agent of Erebos, it still did just as well against Boros, Sultai and Abzan, mainly due to the intense early pressure brought by T3 Underworld, taking their Whip offline before they could cast it.

Against regular Abzan agro, however, this dog curled up and died. Lessons: HAVE to run Bile Blight main, but do not have to run Agent of Erebos main. Also, the addition of Flamewake Phoenix seemed to be a win, especially given the shenanigans possible with Tymaret, the Murder King and either Bloodsoaked Champion or Flamewake Phoenix.

New version: + 3 Thoughtseize, moved 3 Agent of Erebos to board vs Delve intensive decks, +2 Bile Blight with 2 more in board, -1 Underworld Cerberus because it isn't necessary to get him to win, -1 Lightning Strike
