Recently a player in my meta has decided that he's going to start the inevitable power creep arms race by building a MLD deck. While that deck is still in the process of coming together, I decided it was about time that I put together an actual control deck- as in our meta control is virtually non-existent, while combo/infcombo/synergy aggro decks are all over the place.

This deck is primarily aimed at counterspells and destroy effects in order to control the board, using Tasigur and politics to keep players in check. It doesn't have a strict wincon, instead just relying on outpacing other decks and gradual beats with creatures.

One note is that this is built entirely out of cards I actually own. It is not a 'theory deck', nor will I be ordering specific cards for it. I'm at the 'starving student' level of income, so my main source of new cards is draft.
