Phage the Untouchable traveled the world in search of a home. Those he crossed paths with dare not touch him for they may not survived. Long was his journey until he happen upon a commander who wasn't afraid, Jodah, Archmage Eternal. The avatar minion was offered a home for a price, that being, Jodah would use Phage's deadly ability to wipeout his enemies. The wizard knew a special spell named Fractured Identity that when cast on Phage, the field of battle would be no more. Phage did not want this but accepted because he now had a home.

There was a knock at the gates and Jodah looked out to see an enemy of the lands, Heartless Hidetsugu. Jodah warned him to step no further, but he did not heed the warning. A battle ensue, Hidetsugu was able to get pass the Propaganda and Ghostly Prison. He assembled a Wound Reflection to finished off the battle. Just when it seems like all hope was lost, Phage showed up to help defend his new home. This gave the wizard enough time to summon Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, a powerful angel that slowed the ogre shaman. But still, he knew it was only a matter of time before the defenses would break. Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Chancellor of the Annex, Drannith Magistrate, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, Spelltithe Enforcer, Wandering Archaic   couldn't stop what Hidetsugu was planning.

To give himself more time, Jodah casted Time Stretch, Time Warp, and Temporal Manipulation. This gave him enough time to cast his most powerful spell Approach of the Second Sun, not once, but twice, to end the battle. On his knees and fearing for his life, Hidetsugu agreed to serve Jodah. Now the wizard has become even more powerful than before.
