One of the biggest cards I can suggest is Krosan Grip . It helps stop a LOT of stupid things from going off. It makes it so people can't just intimidate everyone with their Oblivion Stone and such.

@Lhurgyof yeah it would be a nice upgrade. There is not alot of Oblivion Stone in my group, but every deck run card:Nevinyrral's Disk...

I'll put it in my maybeboard untill i can find one

Thx

I recommend taking out all the basics and use the following combo:

T1 Land (possibly Vampiric Tutor , Imperial Seal , Sylvan Tutor , Worldly Tutor , or Sol Ring , all the tutors going for Hermit Druid )

T2 Land, Hermit Druid (if you did Sol Ring last turn, play Demonic Tutor first)

T3 Activate Hermit Druid (dumps your library into your graveyard), land, Bloodghast from graveyard, unearhed Rotting Rats to discard a combo piece, Dread Return for Reveillark , Cabal Therapy the Reveillark , fetching a sac outlet (I like Sadistic Hypnotist ) and Karmic Guide , the guide fetches Reveillark , sac the guide and the Reveillark , fetching the guide and Saffi Eriksdotter , the guide fetches Sun Titan , which fetches Blasting Station , at which point you win

It's a bit complicated, but it is the most consistent combo for karador. However, it does require quite a budget and some significant alterations to your deck, so it might not be for you. Hope this helps.

Yeah, man. Imperial Seal is worth almost a grand by itself, and combos don't make for fun games (much less turn 3 combos).

Fair enough.

Nice combo indeed, i may add some of those tutor and reduce my basic lands. Since i play mostly for fun, in a casual playgroup. Most of are games are over 1hour and some goes 3 hours... Some cards you mentionned will go into my buylist but i will keep this deck casual, fun and fair.

i like it +1, although i do have some suggestions to give you but depending on your playgroup they may not help. take a look at my Karador deck and see if you get any ideas :)

Awesome deck man. Out of curiosity, how is dredge working out for you? I had considered it briefly, however Bojuka Bog.... That hurts.

Also look at Magus of the Disk. Reusable board wipes always come in handy :-)

guerillarage, well, bojuka bog and tormod's crypt sure hurt a lot. Good thing is, in my play group we all have 5-10 decks, for a total of more than 100 deck. This one may be the only one into dredge, so most of my friends wont waste a card spot for grave removal.

Yeah Magus of the Diskwas in my buy list, it's an awsome card!

@RetroPlayer343 i thought alot about Ghoultree . Problem is that i can only cast one creature from my grave each turn. A Ghoultree in my hand would be awsome, but since it does not have any ETB effect, and can be blocked easily, once in my grave there is almost no situation where i would reanimate it... If there is few creatures in my grave, it will cost too much. If my grave is full, i probably have a removal ETB creature that would be a better choice...

Artisan of Kozilek belongs in every karador deck tbh, 9 mana recurr it + something else

Woodfall Primus Rune-Scarred Demon andterrastodon (we have the B/G primordials banned in our playgroup, they just lead to insane boards with clones n stuff)all can make very scary board states, especially combined with melira/Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and something that either eats tokensHex Parasite or something that gives persistAntler Skulkin

just imo, making this deck atm and in playtesting, all of these are allstars

Mortivore , Lhurgoyf , Resurrection , Obzedat's Aid , to name a few. I dig it though!

Some nice cards there, i'll be loking for Rune-Scarred Demon and Woodfall Primus .

I do have a terrastodon sitting in a binder, i'll just add it. Eldrazis are a delicate kind of creatures in my playgroup. Since i'm still loking for a win condition, i'll add it but it can contribute to ragequit/friends whinning.....it may get out of the deck fast

aeonstoremyliver Obzedat's Aid is interresting, but i try to have as few non-creatures as possible, i'll think of it. Same for Resurection

Mortivore and Lhurgoyf are the king of creatures i'm trying to cut out. No ETB effect means that i will not choose them as my only creature i can reanimate in my turn...

Necrotic Sliver and Harmonic Sliver are possible additions. If you've got a sliver player in your meta they can be risky however.

Necrotic Sliver is really brutal as a re-usable permanent destroyer. And you can rattlesnake with him a bit.

June 11, 2013 11:21 a.m.

Mortivore and Lhurgoyf could easily be 25/25 creatures...

Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord could be a better option with more utility. Saccing something as a Fling type effect then recurring it...

Bobgalarneau says... #20

@ aeonstoremyliver finaly add Mortivore and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord on your suggestion :p reduced my lands to 36 to make some room for them since i use some fetch/ramp/mana rock. My Hermit Druid should just work better.

Not sure about jarad yet but as you said, it's another win condition.... And i am realy looking for win conditions other than controling the field until i can hit with a massive Sewer Nemesis

Sweet! I've made some EDH decks recently that I could use some suggestions on, if you would be so kind as to take a look:

Kresh's Rolling Crap in a Ball

Don't Be Hasty, But Tasty

Don't want anyone to touch your graveyard?

Why not you get a Ground Seal ?

July 5, 2013 8:12 a.m.

guerillarage says... #23

Ground Seal is pretty limited. It doesn't stop Bojuka Bog , not to mention it shuts down your Life from the Loam . True Believer is probably a better choice.

July 5, 2013 8:54 a.m.

Bobgalarneau says... #24

@guerillarage, my general is there to bring back my creature from the grave.... And my whole deck is built around the idea of casting a creature with ETB effect from my grave each turn... In most case, bojuka my grave and i'm dead.... Ground sealing it myself would be dumb

July 5, 2013 10:15 a.m.

guerillarage says... #25

Yeah that's why I suggested an alternative.
