Here is a defender deck I am building with the main goal of abusing Doran, the Siege Tower with Wakestone Gargoyle to allow the defenders to attack.

That is the win condition I am hoping for, with Diabolic Tutor and Liliana Vess to get the pieces I need to play. If this isn't going to work then I just use mana ramp to drop some bombs such as:

1) Monstrous Colossus of Akros

2) Exsanguinate

Other good stuff:

1) Wall of Omens, Carven Caryatid --draw card

2) Liliana Vess -- Keep opponents hand empty and the ultimate is nice
