I'm trying to build some modern abzan deck for local events and FNM playing.

Why no Goyfs?Main thing I want to say is that I don't run Goyfs and because they are too expensive.Today he is kinda easy to remove with Fatal Push.Also I think if you are trying to play a lot aroud graveyard you could get punished very hard wiht goyfs. So I stay only in Delirium range for Grim Flayer, he is good example of card which has value on it's own. (with Delirium beater otherwise Ponder).

Why no Lilis?Well Lili is a great card, but again too expensive. Other PW can take care about small creatures. For big boys and oponent's hand we have tools too.

Doran, the Siege Tower- good old Doran is basically the biggest creature for three mana without anything else. - he is great vs strategies where your oponents tries to make creature's power like +X/1 (affinity for example).- I think he is best replacement for goyf if you want only big stats for low mana. Yes he has three mana symbols but I have never problem with this mana base to cast him.- little problem is that he is legendary and he has no big synergy with other creatures -> I don't like to play bad cards with big toughness only for Doran's effect.

Other creatures and concept of the deck: Basically what you want is one or two big creatures and lots of hate to protect them. So there are some good card for abzan colours.

Experiment: Journey to Eternity Idk if is good or no. But I want to test it.

What I need? I need your help to make this deck better and also reachable for people who doesn't want to spend lots of money for cards. So please writte any suggestions for creatures and other spells for this deck. Again I'm trying to build deck for small local tournaments and for FNM.
