Starting point was to create an aggressive deck that utilizes high toughness creatures that can pack a punch with their butts. Some redunancy with the commander is included with Ancient Lumberknot and Assault Formation. Other aspects of the deck are to set up the battle field to maximize on advantageous attacking and blocking scenarios.

One mechanic that I focus on is using Lure effects that can draw the attention of any defending creatures so that I can get a sideways pummelling from my creatures in. The main cards that pair with this particular that combo well with LURE are: Engulfing Slagwurm, Elven Warhounds, Deathgazer, Tangle Asp, grappling giant, Sylvan Basilisk, Dead-Iron Sledge, Gaze of the Gorgon

With the aggressive approach I am taking with this deck I want to make sure that I am not leaving myself open to enemy attack. I assembled a number of anthem effects that will help in this regard. VIGILANCE is important here and is granted by Oathsworn Giant, Brave the Sands and Angelic Field Marshal. DEATHTOUCH is granted by, Bow of Nylea, and Vault of the Archangel. Pair that with some FIRST STRIKE from Archetype of Courage and Angelic Skirmisher and you are golden. Skirmisher also can activate

WRATHS can be a little tricky because the deck runs creature heavy and I don't want to clear away all my hard work. These ones work well to give my creatures the benefit of the doubt: Retribution of the Meek, Wave of Reckoning, Fell the Mighty.

Also included is a bit of a REMOVAL with some RAMP and lastly some CARD DRAW engines in the form of, Abzan Beastmaster and Sapling of Colfenor. I would be interested in incorporating more card draw so suggestions on that front would be appreciated.
