I'm taking out Cultivate for Sylvan Scrying just so I can target a lot of my lands that I couldn't target with other abilities. I'm also taking out Lightning Greaves for Umezawa's Jitte . Just seems like a fun card to try out and I juts got one for cheap, deciding whether to throw it into Ruhan or this deck. Also, trying to figure out what to take out to allow Hunter's Insight to be put in this deck. Could bring a huge card draw to the table with Doran out.

For now, I think I'm going to take out Dimir Machinations for Hunter's Insight Due to throwing Chord of Calling in plus the new equipment that makes this deck a little less reliable on Doran, I thought the card draw would be more advantageous.

Assault Formation seems like it is needed for this deck! Trying to think of what to take out...

I can't stress this enough. Ramp. Ramp. RAMP!!! The better the ramp, the sooner you have your board state of big scary creatures set up and swinging.Add: For artifacts, add Lotus Petal, Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Orzhov Signet, Selesnya Signet, Golgari Signet. Also a few good creatures you can add like Birds of Paradise, Lotus Cobra, and Courser of Kruphix. Weathered Wayfarer might also be useful to you, as well as its more broken enchantment counterpart: Land Tax. Other good enchantments for ramp are Utopia Sprawl and Wild Growth.

Since you're in black, its good to at least have the two best tutors for pulling that card you need. Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor are basically auto-includes in every black-splashed deck in the format if you have the money for them. Worldly Tutor and Sylvan Tutor might also be worth looking into since you're running a decent creature base.

What to remove:

If you add some of the ramp spells I suggested, you can cut up to four lands safely and still maintain a very, very consistent mana base.

Krosan Tusker. Terrible bang for his buck, so to speak. The cycling ability is decent, but there are much better ways to draw cards and pull lands. Even Yavimaya Elder is better.

Behemoth Sledge. There are better cards to give your creature(s) trample. The lifelink effect is nice, but not worth playing.

Replacing Bosk Banneret with Heartwood Storyteller as I need more draw. Finally got my hands on a Tree of Perdition which will replace Bane of Progress and Utter End which will replace Sylvan Scrying
