Muraganda Petroglyphs will make you tokens bigger but it wont do much for the normal spiders because almost all of them have reach or some rule text or you could use Gaea's Anthem.

Alpha Status will make anything a huge spider.

Saproling Symbiosis or Beacon of Creation could help flood the bored and make more counters for your Commander.

Last two are cool and a lot of people like insects as a sub theme to spiders...but im a spider purist. Meren only made it in since theres no legendary spider and im not huge on house rules.

Once Ishkanah becomes your general, you should pair it with a Conjurer's Closet for spider value.

Terrifying Presence should go without explaining why. Oran-Rief, the Vastwood could be useful. Maybe Door of Destinies Commune with the Gods and Garruk, Caller of Beasts, err, Caller of Snakes.

Ishkanah, Grafwidow is available to list as your commander now.

Cryptolith Rite would be great in here.

What is your opinion on Crop Sigil? I see you're planning on adding it. I don't know how comfortable I am choosing to put the top card into the yard without looking at it first.

@Squirrel_of_War: It comes out on turn one. It quickly enables delerium and when im done with it it gets back a land and a dude. Best part of my list is i can blindly flip a ton of of cards and know im never actually losing anything that will help me win the game.

You may want to use Urza's Incubator for your deck. Good for reducing the cost of your creature spells.

As a fellow Ishkanah commander player here, I can recommend a couple cards:

Brass Herald. Yes, its an artifact creature, but he is a shapeshifter, so he counts as a spider once you select spiders as your creature type, and he acts as a Lord, giving all spiders +1/+1. That is a bit of a benefit.

With all your spiders coming pout for free with Lurking Predators and Descendants Path (thanks for clueing me in on those 2 cards, BTW!) lets take advantage of Ishkanah's instant damage option with A: Cryptolith Rite - which you have, B: Cabal Coffers, (paired with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth) and C: Nykthos, Shrine To Nyx.You can end a 4 and even 5 player commander game on the spot! If nothing else, you never fail for mana!

I've always found it useful to put a graveyard recycler Ulamog or Kozilek to thwart EDH mill decks, or boardwipers.

Once you have Delirium, that Conjurers Closet is just pure nasty.

If you play in a meta that likes to use lots of artifacts in abusive ways, Haunting Wind shuts down those shenanigans cold.

I can't comment on your instants and sorceries, as my deck goes the Cascade route running Primal Surge as my only instant/sorcery.

You've given me a lot of ideas!

Crawling Sensation might be better than crop sigil. there's better ways to get repeat-able GY shenanigans, and ...sensation, allows for the "may" trigger at upkeep, which while not as fast or deep as something like Vessel of Nascency even fits a little better with "insect" could reasonably mean spider.

and if you're OK on the insect being spider idea. something like Sprout Swarm might be a bit more of a stretch but would go nuts in a token heavy spider deck

some other green staples. Green Sun's Zenith ye olde Doubling Season type cards to max tokens, even something like Evolutionary Leap alluren is great for green haste goodness. and other misc cards Asceticism just good stuff. also... blanking on the name. but green has a couple of cards, that recur everything of a certain creature type. black has similar. ie. Patriarch's Bidding can lead to some late game gas.

also Sheoldred, Whispering One while not technically a spider. really ought to be in any spider deck

I agree, Sheoldred looks like a spider so I think she would fit even with such strict tribal requirements.

also as a quick FYI ..sometimes a card like Steely Resolve effectively grants "shroud" as opposed to "hexproof" (oracle txt even is augmented to say shroud) so be aware that enchant would turn off any spells or abilities you might want to point at your creatures as well. like swarm yard for example. Asceticism is a pricier cmc enchant but functions as hexproof and regenerate engine
