1st round: Went up against a Boros deck that never really got going. Mostly because I swung in double-striking with Silverblade Paladin bonded to Spark Trooper, with a Loxodon Smiter on the side. That was first game, quick, efficient, and crushing.
Game 2 I decided to play Domri Rade on turn 2 instead of a Smiter, and proceeded to draw creatures with him for the next three turns. Including Sigarda, Host of Herons, and I stretched the game out slightly longer than it needed to be in order to get Domri's emblem on the table, and then it was definitely very over. 2-0
2nd round: Played against a BW Zombies deck with Cartel Aristocrat. He didn't hit his ideal stuff, though he got three Gravecrawlers out in the first couple of turns. My Loxodon Smiter held the fort until the Silverblade Paladin and the Spark Trooper came in crushingly. I think game 2 was somewhat similar, just too much of the same offence - Rancored Smiter double-striking, and then Sigarda, good night Zombies. 2-0
3rd round: Played a Bant midrange deck with Thragtusks, Restoration Angels, Prime Speaker Zegana, Smiters, ramp, etc. First game, I got turn 1 Arbor Elf, turn 2 Avacyn's Pilgrim and Farseek, turn 3 Aurelia, the Warleader, and turn 4 Spark Trooper + Boros Charm. No chance for my opponent.
Second game went longer, but I drew into the right creatures and overwhelmed him convincingly. 2-0
4th round: Played a 4-colour BWRG midrange... Rakdos's Return saved his ass just before I swung in for death, and the following two Thragtusks were more than I could handle. Game 2, Olivia Voldaren owned my life entirely, I need four Oblivion Rings in the sideboard, and maybe some Searing Spears. :( 0-2.
