Primarily an evolve/counters deck with enough black splashed in to use Corpsejack Menace. The idea is to get the Corpsejack Menace out, then Bioshift counters onto the unblockable/flying creatures and attack.

I took this deck to my first FNM (modern) last week. Came in 8th (of 12) and went 2-2. That leaves me some room for improvement! Here's the details:

Round 1: Played against a fast red burn deck. Game 1, Searing Speared to death. Game 2 he was mana screwed and I ended up winning. Game 3, burnt. 0-1.

Round 2: This guy had a pretty good orzhov token and 1/1 deck. He beat me game 1. Game 2 I sidedboarded in my Golgari Charms, and drew one, using the -1/-1 to all creatures. I essentially wiped out all of his creatures, and won. Game 3, he overwhelmed me with 1/1's again. 0-2.

Round 3: Played against an Azorious deck. Nothing too eventful here, we were fairly evenly matched, but I came out on top after 3 games. 1-2.

Round 4: This Golgari/deathtouch deck had me worried. Game 1 I was able to evolve some big guys and win. Game 2 she got 2 Forced Adaptations out, then a Corpsejack Menace (a little taste of my own medicine!). I drew no removal, and her 2 creatures grew too big. Game 3 went the same as game 1. Drew my removal, and evolved some big guys. 2-2.
